Hibernian 12/13 Puma Home Football Shirt

Hibernian unveiled the new Puma home kit for the 2012/13 season; a Hibernian with bottle.

Available to purchase now, the new home kit is a fresh, bold look for the Hibees for the forthcoming campaign.

The summer of change continues with the introduction of a striking kit and Hibernian will now wear a modern interpretation of our original colour, bottle green.

Buy Football t-shirts at footytees.com - New shirts every week

An eye-catching look that encapsulates the true Hibernian spirit; both nostalgic, paying tribute to our rich history, and also progressive.

Bottle green was Hibernian's primary colour before changing to the lighter emerald green in the early 1930's.

An in depth story detailing the history behind our original colour will appear on the official website soon.

Thanks to Piqué, James, Stephen

It's a nice kit, classic Hibs! Hopefully it'll be worn by a less shambolic squad this time around though.

Yet if it had more you'd class it as cluttered or too garish with too much going on.

You replace the colour to red. change logo to nike. change the crest to arsenal. Nike got this template way long ago... old...

What you're basically saying is...The collar on the this kit is the same as Arsenal's from about 5 years ago, and they have white sleeves, but i like how creative you made your comment. Was an enjoyable read.

What you are actually saying is, if I changed the colour of my hair to blond. Grew a pair of tits and had an injection to plump up my lips I would look just like Scarlett Johnason.
Or in short it is not like the Arsenal kit at all.

Aye and Hibs have had this design forever you tw@t. Try expanding your horizons outside England, you think we copied Arsenal? F*** off.

Arsenal actually beat Hibs to having white sleeves by a good 5 years. Arsenal 1933 Hibs 1938.

And yes I am a Hibs fan living 5 minutes away from easter road stadium. I know my teams history and the kit history. We also beat Celtic into having green and white hooped kit almosta full 12 years before Celtic were formed.

Looks nice and clean, bottle green looks good too. Bet Plymouth would collectively murder someone to swap their new shade of green for this one.

I have to give it to Puma this time; they did a good job. Only thing that could've been done better is the sponsor. It looks good, but those stickers are gonna peel off. Subliminating it is always the better choice.

Not another "It's Rangers so let them do what they want" candidate?

It's not Scotland's fault - Rangers lived outside their means, for the integrity of the game they have to be demoted.

Also - this is about a shirt - so on that topic, nice shirt - or rather nice 5h1rt..

Showing yourself up to be a complete uneducated fool. This site is about the shirt not the football economy. Take your bigotry elsewhere ...loser.

Very nice, Puma have done the simple thing and in all honesty will sell more tops this way.

That could happen, yes, but I hope this increases other teams (i.e. Dundee United, Motherwell) make a big push to challenge Celtic. Sevco 5088 will be back as Rangers but I want a fair league which is poor in quality rather than one which is bent to have a team in it.

Very nice design, plain and simple with nothing on there that didn't need to be. Shocked that Puma have resisted the temptation to mess it up.

Only a small niggle, but wish the green on the crest matched that on the shirt.....

Smart kit. The picture of the captain is what a strip should look like. Class puma, well done.

Scottish teams seem to have the best kits out this season.
Celtic ok
Rangers quite good
Aberdeen not so good
Hearts ok but like aberdeen boring templats
Hibs my fav so far, classy strip
Dundee Utd ok minus the sponsor
Scottish national team looks like a decent strip, better than England crap red lions (fail)

Class strip, looks like a traditional kit and a refreshing change from the lighter green. Unlike Puma to drop the flashes and adopt a simple yet classy design so full credit to whoever was involved in the design.

I would have this colour year in, year out.
