Italy EURO 2012 Puma Home Football Shirt

italy euro 2012 puma home football shirt

We showed you a leaked picture a few weeks ago, but now the new Italy home football shirt has been officially launched, and is available here.

The latest Italy Home Shirt is a limited edition that boasts 4 stars, an official FIGC badge, and vintage styling. The slim fit shirt has a 3D graphic embossed print with a welded patch pocket and the 4-way stretch underarm panel, cuffs, and back mesh enhance freedom of movement, fashioned after on-pitch player jerseys. The flat knit rib collar with contrast tipping and tonal bottomless placket add a bit of retro styling to this modern, fast-forward design.

Great shirt! This one in yellow and black would be a fantastic Borussia-Dortmund-kit!

Oh, finally a great italian kit.. Seen it in today's game. The collar looks just right, much better than the one from the last year, like collar of today's uruguay shirt. Font is also good and modern. And the best of it all is that they finally play white shorts, blue shirts. It's the only way Italy should play.

its more like nike s first kit for italy from 1996

1994 was diadora and had a better blue than this one but it was much simplier

I just hope we can purchase the Jersey with the details we can see on these pictures. The replicas from Pume used to be very awful. In fact it would be very nice if all brands could make available Authentic Jerseys from all the clubs they support, Home and Away kits.

The WC2010 shirts were available in the authentic player style, so this one should hopefully be too.

Very reminiscent of the Italia Nike kits from the 90's. A massive step up from that monstrosity from WC2010. Even the number style is cool. Beautiful kit.

The goalkeepers kit reminds me vaguely of what Dino Zoff wore in the 80's horrible choice, same with Spain's yellow with Black horrible

Does anybody know why Italy wear blue? it isnt in their flag and both the football and rugby team where it.

Quoting SWFCHI:

blue is the colour of Savoia, which as you probably know, was the ruling house of Italy from 1861 until 1946. Until then, the country's flag always had the Savoy coat of arms on it. so the sport teams were blue.

It's because of the House of Savoy (Azzurro Savoia) which unified Italia in 1861. That's why they wear blue as their primary color!! To honor them!!
