Pleasant enough, but not a patch on the current second shirt, and not a fan of the recoloured crest. Could have been a lot better, umbro has gone off its game as of late. The current Lille shirts were pretty good, but most of the club teams have been subpar.

You'd think a club with so much money could pay a decent designer to come up with even a half decent kit. This year cities kits are awful

It reminds me of Inter (hear me out) Inter in the late 90s with Ronaldo but the stripes are vertical instead

I know which one you mean - they wore it in the '97 Uefa Cup final against Schalke - was blue/grey hoops. Totally agree with you on the Umbro issue - both Bilbao shirts were nice too, but the UK teams have been dissapointing, to say the least.

Don't be too judgemental because:

1. A player has not worn it yet.
2. The shorts and socks are not shown. (which can suprisingly make a big difference)

You really couldn't make this site up. City release two-tone bluey-grey striped shirt: "oooh that's class. Different, but in a good way!"

United release simple and elegant white shirt "OMFG LMAO WTF is that monstrosity?!?!?!"

Thats because ManU's aways' have that abortion of a collar. This is a little unusual, but that's mostly due to the crest.

Great shirt though, but not as good as home or away.

To be fair, the gingham shorts, even with a fairly elegant shirt, make the kit seem a pretty cynical attempt at fashion.

The problem for most isn't Man U. It's Nike.

And Manchester United aren't 'United'. There's Newcastle and Leeds. Typical Man U fan.

WHAT? So man United aren't United but L**ds & Newcastle are? explain! Man Utd are by far the biggest UNITED in the world if not the biggest club! Newcastle are the biggest in Newcastle and L**ds are the biggest in Beeston!!! Ringer!!!!

No. It is really very simple.

When you say "United", meaning "Manchester United", that is very irritating.

It is very irritating because Manchester United are not the only football club with "United" in their name.

I hope I've cleared things up for you. I understand that you think that the size of the club is everything, so you still have a lot to learn about football, but I hope that now you understand the very simple point I was making.

I might be alone here, but it reminds me of the rangers third kit from 2007ish.
This isn't a bad kit in my opinion, but umbro have gone off the boil a little bit recently :/
Still, i'd rather have this kit than play in division 3, but sadly for my team, that's not the case :L

You're right. Last year was Milan red and black stripes, this year is Inter or Atalanta black and blue stripes, next year it will be Juve black and white stripes. Inspiration for the second or third shirts: italian clubs that wear in stripes.
