This is amongst the worst kits I have ever seen. Honestly. The collar is abysmal, and the red line down the middle is even worse.
Hopefully this acts as a demoralizing agent for the Man U players, and emboldens foes.

I love how when England brought out an almost identical style collar a few years ago and everyone raved about it, yet people are hating on this. Its a bad shirt agreed, but hugely hypocritical of you all

I was just about to ask what was the fate of that kit? Was it fake, or is it a potential 3rd kit? From recent memory, United have been using blue as a common colour for 3rd kits. Any info on this would be appreciated just for general knowledge.

I'm a United season ticket holder and I really don't like this kit. I hate it when kit manufacturers change the colour of the badge to suit a kit (whether its United or not it just looks cheap). Umbro have done this loads over the years but I thought we were quite lucky that Nike had never done that to us. Now it seems they have. I think it really devalues the badge of the club.

Also the collar is terrible, you want a shirt to fit well during football but you do need some breathing space around the collar at the same time too!

Nike have really let us down this year on both home and away kits!

A stupid looking shirt, with a stupid mandarin style collar, by a stupid Nike designer. The people contributing to fantasy Kit Design woulda, shoulda, coulda, come up with a way better design. Cantona would never have worn this "thing".
I guess this is why the shirt is "leaked" - Nike wouldn't dare have some official presentation for this shirt - or would they?

Oh and what a surprise, it looks a million times better than it does in the crappy picture above. I guess that's why clubs generally don't launch their new kits via crudely taken camera phone pictures.

Honestly, I thought the City home shirt was piss poor on the camera phone pictures, but since the official launch it's grown on me (I support United). Same with the United home shirt, same as this will.

Poor design from a very very tired brand. In my opinion Nike are supplying far too many clubs and the quality and individuality seems to be going out of the window.
Yet again it makes me wonder why they are trying to sell Umbro when it is obvious they are specialist football brand.

Such a shame the kit's ruined by a badge coloured to fit the colour scheme of the shirt. Should be a red/yellow badge on the shirt and only that badge

Mmmm. Home shirt: Tablecloth. Away shirt: Kimono. Man Utd fans seem to dislike Nike's new direction, so heres a good idea: Wear retro shirts until they are forced to give you some decent designs again - I can remember when Nike first took over they did some really classy designs for Utd (and I really don't like the club), but the last few have been, well, naff. OR alternatively, all get the Newton Heath shirt - that'll p**s the Glazers off!

I want to know if the club actually get a say in the look of the kit? if they do then the person responsible for approving the utd kits for 12/13 needs sacking, the home shirt looks like something you would sit on when going for a picnic as for this away kit it would look great if you represented utd in a pastry cooking comp, bring back adidas for utd asap, u even you looked good in adidas utd kit viv lol.
