Olympique Marseille 12/13 adidas home football shirt

This is the new Olympique Marseille 12/13 Home football shirt made by Adidas, which will be available here.

Featuring the usual white and blue but now adding the orange used over recent seasons in change kits, it also carries brand new sponsor Intersport.

The city crest is embossed into the fabric on the chest and with the addition of orange - which is likely to also feature in the Third shirt, another tribute to the South Winners supporters group - it should be very popular with the fans when it is worn in the final home game of the season v Auxerre in at Le Stade Velodrome this Sunday.

Another change that the accompanying socks will be in blue rather than the usual white, a throwback to l'OM's original kits.

This is the worst Marseille strip in a long time. Colour and sponsor look terrible.

Looks like Adidas are gonna be using a lot of vibrant 'neon' colors this year. That orange is the same one thats on the Bayern away strip.

Not a big fan of this, I think they should have gone with something more along the lines of this years, without the blue diagonal lines.

and the orange works suprisingly well
the sponsor ruins it though
could they not have at least changed the colour of the sponsor to suit the shirt?

To people who don't know any better, it's fine. For the rest of us who are used to Marseille's cutting-edge designs, it's about what they deserve given how well they did this season.

+1 #43 Guest 2012-05-07 22:28
In Marseille, the orange makes a lot speak.. many people say that l'OM loses his identity.
The home shirt has to be only white and blue. Beyond that, the shirt should be great if it was only white and blue, because I find it ugly like that, moreover the sponsor is integrated in no way. :-x

Sry for the possible mistakes of english. Peace from France. 8)

The real shirt is a real let down, but the mock-up is total class. Highly paid designers take note...the fans know more than you do..try to keep up.

It's pretty obvious there was a late sponsor change. Do you really think adidas would design something like this without making the sponsor logo fit in? Just imagine it with the 'Betclic' on. HT.

+4 #48 Guest 2012-05-08 01:08
This is a slap in the face of true Marseille supporters.

First off, the sponsor is in Parisian colors of red and blue. Thanks a lot for that, geniuses.

Secondly, the orange collar. WTF? This is a wink to the South Winners '87 supporters group in the south curve, who frankly, don't deserve the wink after the shit they pulled this season. They went on strike during the Champions League quarter finals, at HOME, chanted incredibly rude anti-Deschamps chants, and displayed completely disrespectful anti- DD banners.

Those disrespectful cunts get rewarded for their idiotic behavior with their group color on the home shirts? The shame.

Why the orange??

Why the red & blue sponsor (PSG colours) ?? The logo completely ruins it still further.

An awful shirt when it could have been so much better.

Some of my fave ever kits have been Marseille but get rid of that orange. Some of their 80s kits were awesome- the white Adidas away with the 3 shoulder stripes. Blue collar and piping would have been cool

This shirt is better in nice in the flesh. Got to take a little look at it on a recent trip to France. The embossing is accross the chest although you can't see it in the picture above. It gets a thumbs up from me. Nice colours and really nice design work. :-)
