Philadelphia Union unveiled new home and away football shirts in advance of the 2012 season.
MLS teams have the option to change uniforms in two-year intervals. The two new jerseys will be the fourth and fifth versions for the Union, as the club debuted a white third jersey last year, in addition to their original blue and gold jerseys. The third jersey will remain the same in 2012.
The new home shirt is inspired by the club's first home shirt, maintaining a navy blue base with a gold center stripe. The new version features thicker signal blue piping, as well as a center stripe that extends to the collar and narrows as it reaches the bottom.
The new away shirt is a complete variation from the original gold secondary jersey, featuring a signal blue base and a white center stripe flanked by gold piping.
Authentic, replica and youth jerseys are available for purchase exclusively in the club's online shop. Replica jerseys are currently available for shipment, while authentic and youth jerseys are due to ship in early 2012.

it's getting downright brutal, like 8 nike euro kits where leaked almost two weeks ago, and all this site has got is 2 of them (USA and Holland), and they dont even have good pictures at that
Same reason it says Bimbo on the front.
what are you doing with a white 3rd kit? white isnt even in your official colours
Could you please translate what you wrote into English?
There is nothing wrong with the adidas shirts in MLS. Most are actually quite nice.
Besides, Nike, Puma, Reebok, Umbro, etc., have all lost their creativity and sense of style. Adidas is still the top brand, and the nicest style.
i can tell youre on adidas payroll. while i do agree reebok is a bit bland (thats why A-league did the right thing and not renewing that deal instead choosing to let clubs handle their kit deals. its a one up from MLS socialism) Nike Puma and Umbro would be incredible in MLS. they havent lost their creativity at all. if anything Adidas cant come up with one decent design. yea their 3 lines is timeless but the designs that go with it (see the bland kits for Union) are blech. Nike would be great for Portland as its their home club. Umbro would be great for VWFC, LAG and DC United although DC United history is one with adidas. Puma with their templates used for the African countries would be super for Sounders or Sj Earthquakes. You have to admit, some diversity in brand names would be great. having Adidas run the show makes everything bland and boring, no matter how unique they make their kits for each "club"
Anyway, the home kit is more of the same but I love the away kit. I can't believe it's getting a lot of flack on here. Most Union supporters were dying for them to use more of the baby blue color in the kits. I wanted this from day one actually. And baby blue is the main color for the main supporters group the Sons of Ben.
Just trying to educate some ignorant people on here.
the kit is ugly. wit would be acceptable however if it were so much kit clashing. the two kits have almost the exact shade of blue the only contrasting thing is that white strip down the middle which renders ineffective if they play a predominat blue club. this kit in terms of kit clashing is almost as bad as that one year where Chivas USA had a white on red home kit and a red on white away kit. wtf? plus i hate how almost every club in MLS uses white as their away kit even though white is not in their official colours. plus the way Adidas designed the away kit, blue white and gold isnt a pretty combination. the home kits is alright, not something to write home about but still the away kit reminds me of power rangers.
Did you even read what I wrote???? I said the home kit is navy blue and the away kit is baby blue. How are those similear shades of blue???? Again, those pictures aren't a true reflection of the kits and its colors. Good bye.
The word that follows a full stop(or period in American talk) should be capitalised . You've refrained from doing this in several posts.
People may take you more seriously if you used this form of fundamental grammar in the future.
Oxford English Dictionary will help you further. Good luck!
I think it's a type of cream cheese, with bits of green stuff flakes in it.
The away kit has a big white patch on the front.
So if Philly ever play a team in dark shade of blue and white, they're buggered for a distinguishable kit!
