Rangers legend Sandy Jardine and young star Rhys McCabe have unveiled the new home kit for Season 2012/13 which is available here. The new kit celebrates the 1972 Cup Winners' Cup Final victory and Rangers' 140th anniversary.
May 24, 1972 - almost 100 years to the day the Club was founded - was a hot, tense night in Barcelona when the Rangers spirit conquered Europe with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Moscow Dynamo at the Nou Camp.
Forty years later the Rangers spirit lives on and the Club has launched a commemorative home top that will certainly capture the imagination of supporters worldwide.

The top pays homage to the shirt worn four decades ago by legends like John Greig, Sandy Jardine, Colin Stein, Willie Johnston and Derek Johnstone. And it brings back the distinctive red and white socks Rangers wore during that incredible European adventure.
Main club sponsor Tennent's Lager has kindly agreed to change its branding on the home shirt to help mark these significant anniversaries in Rangers' history. The Tennent's logo will now appear below the Club crest on the left breast of the shirt rather than across the chest as in previous seasons.
Steve Annand, Commercial Managing Director for Tennent Caledonian Breweries, said: "When we were approached by Rangers with regards their anniversary season we discussed the new kit design and wanted to play our part to help create what will become a truly classic Rangers shirt, and we feel we have achieved this in a positive way.
"The kit design is based on the strip worn on the famous night in Barcelona back in 1972 and we feel our branding fits this perfectly"
The new 2012/13 Rangers Home kit will be worn for the first time by the team at the friendly with Linfield at Windsor Park on Monday 7 May and the shirt features a bigger Rangers scroll crest with the 5 stars now running vertical at the side of the top.
The Adult short sleeve shirt, available in sizes S-5XL, is £39.99 and the Junior short sleeve shirt, available in SB - XLB, is £29.99.
Rangers Manager Ally McCoist said: "Our supporters always look forward to the latest Rangers kit being unveiled and I am sure next season's home strip will have special meaning to our fans as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of our Cup Winners' Cup victory in Barcelona and the Club's 140th anniversary.

Umbro is owned by Nike so there may be some discussion on commonality based around design vs the size and placement of the sponsor. Only so many ways to do green/white hoops or blue shirts
