Rangers 2012 Limited Edition Pink Football Shirt

Rangers Football Club and Sportsdirect have launched a limited edition pink shirt in support of the Rangers Charity Foundation.

The pink shirts replicate the design of the Rangers replica shirt design for this season and are available in a variety of adult sizes for men and women.

There are only 5,000 shirts available and £15 from the sale of each shirt will be donated to the Rangers Charity Foundation in support of its fantastic work in Glasgow, across Scotland and throughout the world.

The initiative has the potential to raise £75,000 in support of the Rangers Charity Foundation and comes thanks to a generous agreement between the Club and Sportsdirect to back the work of the Foundation in this way.

The shirt launch is a great cash boost for the Foundation as it celebrates a decade of charitable giving and it is hoped that the shirt will be a big hit with fans who can wear them with pride.

Rangers Chief Executive, Charles Green has been delighted to give this new fundraising activity his full support and said, “I know that this initiative has been a year in the planning, and, although it has been a difficult year for everyone connected with Rangers Football Club there is absolutely no doubt that the spirit of our supporters, including their charitable spirit, has been incredible.

The Rangers Charity Foundation is a vital and cherished part of the Club’s spirit and activity and this initiative demonstrates the Club’s continuing appreciation of the wonderful work that the Foundation does.”

The Club would also like to express their thanks to Tennent's for agreeing to remove their branding from the shirts in favour of the Rangers Charity Foundation.

The limited edition shirts in a variety of men’s and women’s sizes are priced at £39.99 and are available to buy from the Rangers Megastore from 9am tomorrow (Friday 19 October).

Yeahh...well Raith Rovers did a pink shirt for charity as their away kit for the whole 11/12 season. Reckon thats a better idea than a "limited edition" shirt. http://www.fifetoday.co.uk/sport/football/raith-rovers/maggie-s-link-puts-rovers-in-the-pink-1-1707447

Who cares about a 4th division club. This site is supposed to show professional clubs kits, not sunday league teams.

Well there's the cost of manufacturing the shirt in the first place etc. All profits will go to charity.

Making money by donating a cut to charity! Only a 4th rate team would come up with that idea

That''s a disgusting shirt!

With only £15 going to charity, SevCo are NOT doing this for charity - if they did, they'd have more than 5000 on sale.

Pinksploitation is a con. Shame on them.

the pink colour suggests it is in aid of breast cancer. even the scarf is shaped like the logo. as a football fan that looks out for rangers results i am ashamed to say this is a rip off and a cheap gimmick. im sure people would support regardless ima

Charity Foundation logo has always been this design. Every year the Foundation choose 2/3 charities to support throughout the course of the season. This top is an added extra to raise funds for the Foundation, who do excellent work every year

More filthy corruption from a new club which is following in the old clubs filthily corrupt footsteps.

£15 goes to a "charity" from £40-£45?

A new low in the clubs 4 month history.

Nice idea, and nice clean design. My only question, and maybe sombody here knows the answer, is will this actually be worn in any matches or is it just a "fan kit"? It's a cool kit, they should give it at least one outing.

I would like to see Rangers join the Premier League one day, so they can be with their fellow blues brother Chelsea. Let Celtic rot in the SPL. No Surrender!

reminds me off the halftime charity fundraiser they held at ibrox a few years back

they got a then injured barry ferguson out on the pitch and guy with microphone goes 'right bazza, your question to win £5000 for the charity of your choice, what is 5 plus 5?'

barry ferguson hums and ha's then answers '5 plus 5 is 8'

the announcer looked on in dismay but 50 thousand rangers fans chanteed 'give him another go, give him another try!'

the announcer continued, 'ok then bazza ill make it a little easier, what is 3 plus 3?!'

barry looks stumped and finally bleats out, 'erm... ten??!'

50 thousand rangers fans shout out 'give him another go, give him another try'

the announcer was getting fed up at this point but decided for a final chance

'okay bazza, but this is the last go - what is one plus one?

a puzzled barry ferguson held his breath, then nervously answered 'one plus one is..........two??'

50 thousand rangers fans screamed 'give him another go, give him another try'

.....................

Will go well with a fitted Burberry hat and a pair of baggy tracksuit trousers with socks tucked in...

Am I going mad here or are Rangers crying that Celtic said they "went out of existence"? What is wrong with saying that?
They did go out of existence and the last ever Celtic v rangers game was in May!
This new sham of a setup will never be the real Rangers ever!
Just because my mum replaced my goldfish when It died,
It was never the real yin ever again. Just because it looks the same..it isnie....Accept it...you don't exist!
