real madrid 12/13 adidas home football shirt leaked

Spanish newspaper AS revealed what seems to be the new Real Madrid 12/13 Home football shirt made by Adidas, commemorating the 110 years since the club's foundation in 1902.

They also announced that the away kit will remain black, and the third kit will be green. After the success of the red shirt, Madrid hopes to repeat this success with this green colour that was worn once in its history. It happened on August 25, 1965 in a friendly against River Plate in Caracas. Madrid was on a tour in South America and only had their white kit. Because of a colour clash with the Millionaires, Madrid was forced to change their kit and borrow a green shirt. The match ended 1-1.

I agree Real Madrid with adidas are boring but what can you do with a plain white shirt. I liked their kits back in the 90s when they were made by Kelme with the paw print piping. Even the home kit was classy by 1990's standards.

There are a lot of similarities in design, because both are intended to be simple and classy. But the stripes in Real Madrid kit are dark blue (with a touch of light blue) while Germany's were black.

Real Madrid shirt we've seen in countless 'leaks' in new 'official leak' shock.

Hasn't everyone already commented on this already? Surely we're just a few minutes away from the 'unofficial 13/14 shirt' being leaked ...

Black, navy, gold - all wrong. As the sash on the club crest shows, Real's second colour is purple. Adidas made a classic Real shirt in the early 1980s with three purple stripes, then Hummel followed with the purple chevrons on the sleeves. Now - have adidas run out of purple dye, or what?

Ditch the sponsor though...

-2 # 2012-05-09 14:07
mmm...... adidas seem to be unaware that the name real relates to the spanish royal family hence the royal purple incorporated into real kits of the past. this is a swansea, germany, fulham, etc derivative nothing like as classy as the previous kit which incidentally had no purple on that.

They are very simple and classy and while I like the new Chelsea kit from Adidas, I wish they'd give the real Madrid approach with our away and 3rd kits. I loved the 11/12 real home kits.
