Stoke City today launched a new away kit for the 2012-13 season which has been specifically designed to mark the Club's 150th anniversary.
Tony Pulis' side will play in the new navy and cardinal colours once worn by the Stoke Ramblers following the formation of the Club back in 1863.
The historic significance of the 2012-13 season is also reflected in a specially-adapted Club badge and the use of the 1863-2013 dateline on the back.

Stoke Ramblers played in similar colours right at the outset, although it was hoops rather than stripes on their shirts back in those early days.
The Club also played in a striped version of the same colours, on two occasions in the 1890s and then again after the reformation as Stoke FC in 1908.
City's Head of Commercial Andrew Billingham commented: "Our 150th anniversary next season is a momentous landmark in the Club's history and it was important therefore that the new kit reflected the fact we will be celebrating this special occasion.
"While our home kit will retain the traditional red and white stripes, the away kit is more of a throwback to those early days of blue and burgundy colours. The creation of the specific 150 years badge and the dateline give it more historical significance.
"We are sure that our supporters will like the idea of being able to purchase a special shirt which marks this anniversary in an appropriate manner."
The adaptation of the badge is notable for '150 years' replacing 1863, while it carries the Club motto Vis Unita Fortior underneath -United Strength Is Stronger.
The badge and the dateline on the back of the neck will also feature on the new home shirt for the 2012-13 season which will be launched at a later date.
Those supporters who order or purchase the new away shirt will be entered into a draw to win the special 150 squad number to mark the anniversary.

Peter Coates, the owner of Stoke (who by the way was brought up in Stoke and is a Stoke fan) , set up Bet365 and his family own the company. So therefore the Coates family are sponsoring Stoke City, and are putting more money into their club. So its nothing to do with betting sponsors. Its a family company supporting their local club!

the badge on the other is crap for starters it is probaly the most boring badge in england so you would have thought they would have done somthing special this year then just put 150 years on it in blue.
Sponsor doesn't spoil it, although it'll be very strange looking at a Stoke City kit without "Britannia" on it.

It will be worn loads!! The kit is not red, it's navy and you can hardly see the red. We won't be having a third kit cus we don't need one and the red is actually a different shade anyway if you look closely at the home kit.
