All the above are wrong. Correct answer on the card is:
"To make money for adidas."
Exactly. I never understand why people get upset about teams putting out additional kits or what not. They are not forcing you to buy this kit. People really are morons.
How are you getting ripped off? Are they forcing you to buy this kit???????
Maybe he is being forced to buy it...have you ever thought of that?
I don't remember us losing a world war ;)
So why do host nations at World Cups have away kits made?
They have away kits made for when they play away in other non World Cup games. Team GB will never play outside of the GB
If a remember 2 weeks ago Barcelona playin at Sam Siro in wearing home kit while ac Milan wore away kit so there is no rules about wot strip u have to wear
"God Save our bland-y kit,
It makes us look like s h i t,
Don't buy this kit,
Worn only against the Greeks,
It still costs you some 40 sheets,
Stella's designs just make me weep,
Don't buy this kit ..."
*Apologies for using the term 'bland-y' ...
Yeah but using 's h i t e y' in a line before using 's h i t' wouldn't sound right .... Keats would never approve!
The truth hurts doesn't it Stella?
I want the Beckham model of this shirt.
This rule is similar to what the NCAA has; Adidas gets around it by having the sleeve stripes in two colors.
Outside the Olympics Great Britain fielded a team in the 1947 so called ‘Match of the Century’ to celebrate the Home Nations rejoining FIFA, playing a Rest of Europe team and running out in navy blue as they were playing in Scotland. When in 1955 a representative British XI played a Europe XI to celebrate the Irish FA’s 75th anniversary, the game was played at Windsor Park with the team again wearing the host nations home colours of green.
Stella McCartney obviously has no clue about traditional GB Olympic attire.
White shirt/vest with red/blue trim.
Blue or white shorts
How difficult was that?!
Firstly, is that really the best they could manage with the badge? It's utterly awful, it looks like it belongs to a youth side - no offense.
Why does the Union Flag taper off in the middle? Why is it printed in such a large size? On the home kit, it's going to look stupid with a number printed on it.
Then there are the sleeves, the collar, the dumb seams...
What a missed opportunity.
It’s all about the designated home team and away team, no matter if there the host nation or not, remember 1966, England were the host nation and won the final in there iconic red away kit.
I know this is not the appropriate forum but I needed to tell someone.
MONEY GRABBING C-U you get the ides
For example, if there is a game between Japan and Great Britain, Team GB have to wear away shirt.
Japan are wearing a red kit for the Olympics by the way.
Wrong I have the home shirt
You can even sell your designs and they'll manufacture it for you. :)
