I have seen the new away jersey and this is not it. I work for a soccer retailer in the US and we saw the jerseys last year when making our buy.

I've also seen the new top because of the same reason and this is not it. The new top has white sleeves (like Arsenal) a navy body with a darker shade of blue slash like the current white jerseys have

I can get on board with the Stars and Stripes motif, but it'd be a lot cooler if a) this wasn't a repeat of the 94 denim kit which leads me to believe it's a fake, and b) they worked the stars into one of their designs - e.g. the Netherlands Away kit but in this Royal-Navy blue with the stars in that little shoulder section where the Dutch kit is orange. That would be at least something easier on the eyes than this.

I see where this jersery thing go its all about with company self the most jersery and profit .. look at this Nike use the style basically for brazil,USA, Portugal, france, Holland, its basically the say style jersey its just color difference, ... Nike are just basically do the say think adidas do cause the same thing adidas ..its just lack a vision style uniqueness, its just all over money..those other brand do better job ,..puma, umbra, kappa jumpa lotta and other ..

brands always, or alteast thats the trend now, of bringing back old designs and remodeling them, no matter what design is used. maybe brands are running out of ideas but you say it like Nike is guilty of doing so. almost everyone does it.

i like them, their unique and its about time Nike did something that incorporated stars. i like the collar and the color of the kit. very nice. one thing that bothers me though is the amount of ill will people have towards this kit. seriously guys its just a shirt, and frankly its awesome. i respect that people have different taste but honestly soccer is not a fashion show, its a sport. and however nice this shirt is IMO, its just a shirt.

OK, I'm guessing this is the real one, and it is much better then that rubbish yesterday. Still not too keen on this one but it could be worse. Maybe that was Nike's plan, leak a fake so horrid that we'll be OK with this one. I do like the sash design, but I prefer the simpler designs of the 2010-11 kits.

To be honest I was Kim a hoping for the star design but this kit is pretty nice as well. I like the collar and the blue. Overall I like em good job Nike I don't care what people say this is a nice kit, they really stepped up with their overall lineup so far.

Make the sleeve blue and take the sash off, and then you get an OKAY jersey. That one here is shit. As an USMNT supporter, I always buy one of the brand new jerseys when they are out, but this time... I'm not so sure. Maybe next time, Nike.

Lose the awful shoulder bits and the sash and the jersey will look alright.

More than anything I just wish that Team USA would find a jersey design they like and just stick with it. Some years they wear red and blue underarms, other years they have horizontal lines, still others they have a sash, and now they're going with white sleeves. This team needs an identity, and Nike violently switching up their visual identity in the name of short-term sales is not helping matters.

Why can't our identity be that we don't have an identity. Just like we're a melting pot that borrows our culture from all over the world, can't we take our shirt designs from all over the world, too?

I like that sometimes we have a sash and others we have stripes or hoops or whatever. It makes it unique.
