This is the new Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2012 Adidas third football shirt. Watch the EA Sports Kit Launch Video Here
The 'Caps third kit is predominantly arbutus brown, with sky blue accents, which reflects the unique land full of deep roots and the high-reaching arms of the Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Mountain Hemlock, Pacific Dogwood, Lodgepole Pine, and Sitka Spruce.
The third kit features a jersey, shorts, socks, and training top and jersey which will be worn by the ‘Caps Major League Soccer side three times this season – the first on June 16 when the ‘Caps host Western Conference rivals, Colorado Rapids.

You do realize that the 'Caps asked for this and not adidas right?? sometimes they've just got to make what a team asks for.
MLS clubs rarely get to design their own jerseys (the one that clearly was, the Timbers' winless third jersey, was for Adidas' hometown team and was sold in a limited edition at a premium price).
Completly inaccurate - every MLS team chooses (and works with adidas design) what the design of the jersey is.
Sorry - I'm jus tired of adidas getting no love when all they do is try to grow the sport in the US and Canada.
END!!
Can't help it the Sounders are better than the Sh*tecaps!
that little tm tick sticking out of the whitecaps "crest" sums up mls pretty well, a mediocre
Other than that it's an ok kit. I'd eventually like to see some green incorporated in the team's colour scheme though...
There'll never be kits as cool as the NASL ever again though
good job!
This is why I oppose adidas' dominance in the MLS; with no competition, they can afford to dole out stuff like this. Ashaming to see them trying to justify their choice as well. And that colour is clearly not Arbutus.
When Reebok still held the A-League license, every team had brilliant kits; in this MLS season, only Chicago has two lovely kits. Houston and Montreal's home shirts are pretty great too, but the rest is.... uh. Yeah.
I mean, look at Philly Union's home and away kit; it's like they wanted a couldn't on which to use as home kit, so they just released both.
My point was that a monopoly can be a good thing in theory; Reebok performed admirably in the A-League. I honestly prefer such a construction over adidas/Nike/Puma templates left and right. But the current state of the MLS kit market shows how bad things can turn out, when you have the wrong company at the wheel.
>implying you can't imply here
I like brown in football jerseys and I think It could be use more often.
Nice kit.
Vancouver are Canadian
Nobody said they weren't, he said MLS you moron. Last time i looked they played in the MLS.
you are the moron, you really need to learn some geography. vancouver IS in canada!!
The fact that Vancouver is in Canada dosnt change the fact THEY PLAY IN THE MLS. now go away and wipe the egg from your face.
Since when do you speak for everyone? Obviously a fair few do care and if you don't then whey bother replying?
Just because they're an MLS team doesn't mean they don't matter
because of single entity parity that basically puts every team on a league. Imagine a league with a $2 milllion budget, barely rewards successful clubs but subsidizes mediocre ones and fires coaches because they dont agree with their brand philosophy and you'll get a pretty good idea about why MLS is one of the worst leagues in the world
* meant to say on a leash instead on a league
