Cardiff City 13/14 Puma Home Football Shirt

Cardiff City 13/14 Puma Home Football Shirt

This is the new Cardiff City kit as supplied by Puma, ready for their Premier League campaign in August.

The kit can be seen, modeled by members of Cardiff City's senior, Ladies, DS Active and Futsal teams, led by 'City skipper Mark Hudson and forming part of our all-inclusive ethos at the club.

Creative Football T-Shirts at Footytees.com - Featuring prints by a range of talented artists

The kit can be pre-ordered from Friday May 31st through the official Superstore website, with deliveries set to be processed in July.

The club decided to maximise on the Puma King design and adopt a two-tone red home kit this season, helping them stand out in the Premier League crowd. The two Puma King stripes reflect the fans loyalty to the club, which is appreciated by all.

Thanks to Gethin

AWFUL. the shorts are a different colour to the top, its a template which im sure many clubs will have, and also its red again, CARDIFF ARE THE BLUE BIRDS. The fans should have never let this happen.

The fans didn't agree to it,the owners changed it,and promised fans big investment if they turn red,but the investment still haven't taken place..

The fact their slogan is "One City, One Community, One Club!" is bollocks. If you're one community, why did you not listen to the fans' view on the red last season? Nobody wanted it.

The two different shades of red doesn't work at all, if Cardiff are going to have a red home kit then the shorts should be black. I actually quite liked the red/black of last season (although I'm not a Cardiff fan)

Vile. "The two Puma King stripes reflect the fans loyalty to the club, which is appreciated by all." That statement has all the lying, gnomic, non-signifying cant of an estate agent. This is the club that flushed a century of tradition down the U-bend by ditching colours & badge overnight, in spite of overwhelming supporter opposition. A devastated club run by capitalist racketeers. Does promotion matter under such circumstances?

I do feel for Cardiff fans. You wait more than a life time to reach the top tier of English football and after suffering the undignified insult of kit colour change, name change but then finally making it to the top, you get this kit. It will probably cost about 40 quid plus and I think the Cardiff fans deserve more. I am not a big fan of Cardiff, but I am a fan of the culture of football and their fans deserve better. This is a lazy attempt without regard to the club and it's followers. What a great shame. I felt the same last season when Southampton went to an almost all red kit. It is the Premier League - global on every level. I guess the Malay owners just wanted as much red as possible...sad. On the upside, good luck to Malky and the boys, from a Watford fan.

How can cardiff fans accept the change in their team's colours? Once again a club's traditional dna is changed by "investment", people who have no interest in football whatsoever but the sole aim of moving "the brand forward". Although cardiff fans are pleased with promotion, doesn't it grate just a little that your blue shirts won't be seen in the prem. It all seems a bit hollow to me, what price success? If that corporate shit was done to my club there is no way I would ever bother supporting them again, but best wishes for next season.

true... that's why quiete a few of us are in exile, as we boycott the re-branded club now. Unfortunately, many gloryhunting plastics came in, so it looks like all of us just rolled over to Tan.

People who slagged off Cardiff for ages, cos we werent as good as ManUtd and Liverpool, now follow the club and call us stupid cos we wont accept the re-brand.

There's an online petion, and I would ask all genuie football-fans to support our cause, to re-install our identity and get rid of the red homekit and that horrendous badge.

Sadly i have a feeling that for our first campaign in the top flight for 51 years, we really are going to have to put up with the cr*p you've all seen above! Truly the lowest day of Cardiff City FC in history in my honest opinion.

Amazing, I've seen nothing but contempt for the new red kit, since last year - how are the owners getting away with this?

I can only assume the temptation of top flight football is overcoming the fans' desire to revolt. That must be quite an inner conflict.

That's no conflict whatosever as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather my club were playing non-league than have some piece of crap like Tan come in and "re-brand" the club in his own image. What an egomaniac.

so you've not see thousands of fans wearing the red kit at the stadium then? I'd say that was something other than contempt.

They sold more red than blue, if mos fans really hated it then that wouldn't be the case.

I played soccer for 12 years and have been to 91 MLS games in the last 9 years I'm Welsh, Irish and Cherokee so I'm not Mexican, I'm fluent en espa?

I 've sussed you out pal, you're a nouveau soccer fan who likes to emulate the tough image of hooligans seen in indie movies and read in book with stained spines and curled cornets. Cardiff fans should just by the away kit. Boycott the home shirt its the only way to get their point across. They complain about the change next thing they are buying red shirts!

Yeah they should have done that last year, I expect the vocal minority did, but the masses have spoken and most fans wanted the red one (at least most bought that one).

Not keen on the collar, looks too flimsy. The whole shirt looks ill fitting. The darker shorts look like something you would wear on a Sunday Morning when you have left your shorts at home and have to wear last seasons kit. Just doesn't match. Maybe white or black shorts would look better?

Cardiff fan here and I have to say its horrible, if the shorts were white ot black it wouldn't look so bad. It reminds of playing sunday league where you're given the shirt then have to provide your own shorts and socks, so there always a little bit different than imagined.

Cardiff City FC have backtracked on the shorts the kind old fellows down at the Cardiff City Stadium will now give the season ticket holders until 2 pm tomorrow to decide on the new shorts colour which are dark red, matching red, white with red trim amd back with red trim. No blue option.

I must say Mr Tan has played a blinder here in which im sure was set up to make it look like he listens to the fans!

Wrexham fan, no sympathy for them and hope they get relegated.

Their bandwagon fans sucked up this rebrand because they were so desperate for PL action. Anyone can get into the Premiership with the 'Unlimited funds' cheat turned on, colour regardless

Anyone who pays £40 for this t-shirt is a sucker.

There are so many things wrong with this kit...
