Everton 13/14 Nike Home Football Shirt

Everton has unveiled its new 2013/14 home kit for the next chapter of its history, which is available here.

The new home shirt is a classic football design, unmistakably Everton, and features a royal blue body with a white collar and white hoops on the sleeves.

Creative Football T-Shirts at Footytees.com - Featuring prints by a range of talented artists

The kit, which goes on sale from Wednesday 24 July, has been produced by Nike and features the leading sports brand's unique Dri-Fit technology, which is designed to draw sweat away from the body to keep players cool and dry during a game.

The jersey will also feature a more tailored and athletic fit after Nike ran a pioneering programme which created 3D body scans of some of the world's leading players.

I'm an Everton supporter and it's not that I hate change, I just hate rushed and poorly done change like what was done with this badge. It leaves the out the two laurel wreaths and the motto: Nil Satis Nisi Optimum (Nothing but the best is good enough". These are two big things to just drop from our logo as they're huge symbols of the club (the motto more so).
Also Iove the thought of the change coming up next season, they're fixing the crest! 8)

Quoting Crazyfrog:
The double trim/stripes on the arms are Arsenals last years design...So I guess it's a kinda template with a different collar.

Those are actually racing stripes that will allow Everton's best players to leave the club faster than ever!

This template is actually Arsenal's from last year just with a different collar and Everton's home strip from last year was Arsenal's home strip template from two years ago. so... you must be pretty blind not to see that..

I actually like this very much. Calls to mind our late-'90s kits with that white collar. The goalkeeper jersey is a bit strange, but then anything's an improvement on that camouflage nightmare he had to wear a couple of seasons ago.

Looks a bit like Ossie and Tim are farting out DNA double helix strands. Can't justify spending £50 on a shirt. Wasn't a fan of the new badge before, but was waiting to see what it looked like on the shirt. Even though they said it was too late to change it back, it still somehow looks like an afterthought. Phoned it in at 4:30pm on a Friday sort of job

The long sleeve one looks like a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey jersey

As someone who hates Nike (Umbro RIP) they have actually done a decent kit here.Save for the badge of course.
Why do people have to keep messing about with a team's badge???
Nice to see a shirt with a proper collar on it.

Quite a nice shirt! A bit of a retro sort of look but it looks not bad tall :-) I'm not an Everton fan but the badge should have never been changed :( The new one is not awful but not a patch on the old one, doesn't even have the latin club motto on it :/

Yet another boring, inspid Nike design.

My ten year old son could've come up with this.

Do any of Nike's designers actually put any effort into their kits at all??

"Ohhh..let's just get a blue shirt and put two white stripes on on the sleeve. Hey, Steve what do ya reckon? Like it?"

"Brilliant mate! You know what would tart it up? A white collar."

"Yeah, I'll that. Great, the job's done. Good thing too, the deadline is not for another six months. I can bunk off for a bit now. I might use this design for a few other teams I have in my brief too, but I'll just change the colours. God I love my job!"

I'm not asking for a technicolour shirt, I'm asking for a shirt that has some originality and where effort has gone into the creation of it.

If adidas (while they're not always to my taste, look at what they manufacture for some of the Ligue Un teams) and Puma can do it why can't Nike?

Last year's Everton shirt was just a blue t-shirt..there was nothing interesting nor innovative about it at all.

Simple shirts can still look good..take the current German kits..as an example, Nike just don't seem to care. Pelicans!

Really like it. Don't like the global sportswear arms race between Nike and adidas that means they have the majority of contracts but that's another matter.

In my view a clean and singularly attractive design.

The badge: as others have stated, don't mind it, but then I'm not an Everton fan. With that in mind I think it's best they return to the previous incarnation.

Can anyone confirm if this is a teamwear design, or bespoke like Arsenal, City etc?

Can't really tell from this photo. From my knowledge there is no teamwear that has this design( polo and arms bands). It could be an elite template design but you cant tell because the shirt in the photo lacks shoulder rubber and ventilation holes. The goalkeeper is without a doubt part of the club II teamwear line.

I am an Everton fan and I personally love this new shirt, and love the simplicity about it, like last seasons too! People saying about Nike lacking creativity need to take a look at other brands kits, less is more and Warrior are making me piss by [censored]ing liverpoo in the ass with the shit kits

Kind of looks like virtually the exact same thing as last year, except with a double stripe on the arm instead of a single one (plus the new badge)... so well done, why mess with success? Could have done some stupid fading gradient of colour fading from one shade of blue to another, but instead they changed little and kept a classy club in a classy kit. Well done all around.
