Italy 2013 Conderations Cup Puma Home Football Shirt

This is the new Italy 2013 Confederations Cup Puma Home Football Shirt, made for this summer's competition in Brazil and available here from April 1st.

It’s a bolder evolution of past shirts: fluorescent blue piping and colored cuffs provide a fresh take on the team’s signature hue as well as the national flag of Italy. The shirt will unify the team (and its fans) as they prepare for their 5th star pursuit the following year.

The shirt’s design considers heritage as well as the players’ physical qualities. The official team shirt is made of recycled polyester and Cocona (an activated carbon made from coconut shells) to provide a superior level of comfort and moisture management. The official team replica shirt is made of 100% recycled polyester. Both the official shirt and replica shirt are engineered for embracing mates and hoisting trophies as needed.

Prefer the current design, but this is alright... Looks like a cycling jersey with the zip undone.

They needed a wider collar so Chiellini could fit it over his nose ;)

You have to admit, They have the best t-shirt, years after years, whether is kappa, puma or something else. That includes France as well, Brasil, Spain, Holland etc. top teams...

Even though the final result is questionable, at least the collar appears to shows that for once they have put some thought on the climate in which the shirt will be used (something the USBastards, or adidas or puma never dream of doing) (and even though it' s the shirt material that counts even more).
The rest is the usual mess based on loud colours/oblique constructions, for ages 6 or younger (hence the "engineered for embracing mates and hoisting trophies", frankly offensive if not idiotic)

If you want to see the template for the next Newcastle shirt, go to http://www.ob.dk/artikel/fans-valgte-obs-nye-troeje.aspx When we voted for OBs new shirt, Pumas representative in Denmark confirmed that this design will be used by Dortmund and Newcastle for next season.

could easily be a rugby shirt! italy kits used to be simple ,elegant designs . this is just another so - so modern kit, neither good or bad enough to inspire any real opinion.

Nice design, but what's up w/ the plunging collars from Puma (Italy), Nike (Juve away), & Adidas (Milan away, but just looks deep w/ the outline) for next season? Are they trying to turn each other on?

Why does EVERY national team bring out a new kit EVERY year now? It's not as if they ever get worn all that often, so no international kit is ever over-used. At this rate, there'll be a new kit for every international match, mark my words.

I think that the stars should be above or under the crest. From the distant it looks like they never won World Cup.

They normally bring one out at the start of each tournament, or at near the start of the qualifying phase for the WC or Euros, I think...

Exactly what I thought whe I saw that jersey. Nice combination of a traditional style with modern element.

This childish font disturbs the whole design though. Choose a classic font for numbers and names and this jersey is close to perfect!
