Juventus 13/14 Nike Home Football Shirt

Juventus 13/14 Adidas Home Football Shirt

This is the new Juventus 13/14 Nike Home Football Shirt which is available here.

Juventus Football Club stays true to its roots with a traditional home kit for next season. The sleek fitted jersey features the club's famous black and white stripes, this time in a thinner style reminiscent of the kits Juventus wore during its dominant run in the 1980s.

The shirt has a lowered white V-neck collar — also inspired by the 1980s kits — a black stripe print on the cuffs, and two side vents on the hem with a flash of black. The bold, bonded black tape at the bottom of the V-neck is a nod to Turin, home to Juventus and the industrial capital of Italy.

Inside the neck is a woven label featuring a shield with the club’s founding year of 1897. On the back of the shirt is the familiar black panel unique to Juventus to hold the players’ names and numbers.

The home shorts are black with a printed stripe along each side, while the socks are white with a black block on the back to give players greater visual acuity on the pitch.

The kit showcases Nike’s inherent belief in style, craft and strong aesthetics, while aiding the performance of players with key technological features.

But not the year before that? Or the year before that? What about 5 years ago? It's always white and black and that's what it's supposed to be!

You guys can't understand. These stripes make part of the identity of Juventus. It's not because there are black & white stripes that the shirt is identical.

Amazing ! Simply Amazing !
I like this new home kit of Juventus ! PAOK Thessaloniki FC has agreed with Nike a 3 years contract for team kits , and as PAOK has exactly the same colours with Juventus I hope to see this home kit on PAOK too ! For thone who don't know , PAOK's owner is mr.Ivan Savvidi ( of Greek Pontian origin who grew up in Russia) famous poltician of Russsian Duma and close friend of Vladimir Putin . We are playing in Greek Play Offs of Super League Greece this month as we finished 2nd after Olympiakos but we can win and go on Champions League ....See ya in the Champions League Group Stage :-)

It's about time Juventus went back to wider stripes, Sony sponsored 90s era, just mix it up a bit, maybe black shorts, it just gets boring, Barcelona do

This season's shirt has 2 thick black stripes placed on the front with 1 more stripe on the far left and right sides of the shirt. The sleeves are black with a thick white block on the front of the sleeve. The current one also has a crew neck collar.

This one has a V-neck collar. Has 5 thin stripes with a black one going straight down the middle. The sleeves have thinner black and white stripes with white trimmed cuffs

Nike have finally upped their game with another considerate Juventus design but as the press release identifies the paying tribute to the Juventus teams of the 80's then you would expect the classic white shorts and white socks to accompany this shirt. Still, I doubt if many Italian Juventus fans will be buying it to the further frustrations of Andrea Agnelli and he Juventus marketing people.

Tradition or not, white shorts are nasty. They show up the grass stains, and you can see the players underwear & genitals clearly through the material.
Can't stand white shorts.
Dark coloured shorts look far smarter for anybody's kit!
