Nike China Football Super League 2013 Team Kits

Nike’s new uniforms for all 16 teams of the China Football Super League (CSL) feature designs that speak to each club’s heritage and traditions, and utilize Nike’s latest apparel innovations. In addition the kits for the 2013 season are made with recycled polyester spun from recycled plastic bottles, a sustainable innovation that Nike first introduced in 2010.

The recycled fabric features Nike Dri-FIT technology and incorporates laser-cut ventilation holes, both of which promote cooling to help regulate the players’ temperature. In addition to the performance-driven technical design, each kit carries subtle cues tied to the team’s heritage, values, pride and the tradition of their respective home cities.

Zhu Qilin, General Manager of CSL Co.,Ltd., stated: “The CSL has never ceased its drive to better players’ performance. To this end, performance-driven and environmentally-friendly team kits with the latest innovations are essential to ensuring our players perform their best. Nike, as the world's No.1 sportswear company, has made a substantial contribution to the CSL with its design, solution and service for the athlete.”

A cock is a male chicken, so what I said was accurate. I female chicken is a hen, which I did not say. Or are you just immature and find the word "cock" funny because its another word for "penis"?

The changement is because the team moved to Shaghai, previously it played in Nanchang, so it's like a rebranding

I thought Ranger's colours were red, white and blue? Why the Orange? Surely that's a Celtic colour from the tricolour?

dont go there mate..it wont end well lol...orange is a protestant colour..rangers have red white and blue (british colours) and a bit of orange just in case u were in any doubt who they are and what they stand for..celtic wear irish colours as they are catholic..my explanation may be a bit simplistic but i think u get the general idea
on the subject of the chinese teams..do they wear white as away colours? no one has a white shirt ..or is there another reason for the lack of white..?

White is the color of mourning in Chinese culture so I doubt any team would use it as their main color. I think some teams use a white away kit though, I know Shanghai Shenhua does.

Well the orange on the Irish tricolour actually represents protestants (the green being catholic and the white being peace between the two). It has however became a Celtic clour because of the tricolour, so Rangers would try to avoid it.

Orange as a Celtic colour? Where did you get that nonsense from? Ever heard of the Orange Order, a protestant group from Scotland and Northern Ireland? Orange has awlays been associated with the Protestant religion, and will never be associated with Celtic

problem is there are 456720394830238478402005000006000055060000087 people lving in China so even if only 1% of them are remotely into football theres a s h i t load of people who might buy the shirts.

Costs Nike £3-4 to make each shirt, but they are allowed to sell them at £40-60..........rip-offs no matter how much time & effort has gone into designing them, which by the looks of things doesn't look like it took very long at all!

Nike don't force anyone to buy them, as long as punters stump up the cash they aint gonna reduce the prices, why should they? it's poor business

I kind of like it. Because they're all made by Nike, Nike can make sure there's a full spectrum of color. Instead of the EPL, where almost every team wears red, white, or blue.

So you expect teams to changes their entire identity and history purely so there isn't as many teams with the same colour shirt as others, maybe Man U could play in Green and Aston Villa could play in Orange?

All of these kits are red, green, blue or orange or various shades there of, how is that any more varied than the EPL?

Lots of red, blue, green and orange shirts but no yellow/amber/claret/maroon tops. Do the Chinese have something against these shades?

It seems to me that Nike have a whole kits from the teamwear catalogue to get rid of before they get new stock in for next season.
Shame that Hangzhou and Wuhan templates are four years old.

The perfect nightmare: an all-Nike League.
Looks like a multicolour fluo carnival parade, makes you vomit from disgust (the slimy effect of the material adds to the whole final result...)
Oh, and by the way nice imitation of the traditional 1890s Le Coq Sportif rooster on that second blue one...
Simply unbelievable.

I'd agree with some of the comments here in terms of one manufacturer for a whole league and the shirts being templates but when you see the state of leagues like the French league and even the Japanese league with their kits plastered with sponsors and the most god awful designs by manufacturers who can't even design a decent logo for themselves. That's when I start to think that these kits are quite nice. They're clean, simple and colourful.

I actually think some of these kits are stunning and would love to get my hands on them......... That being said, there is a real lack of imagination in comparison to what China did in the lrevious campaign for Chinese teams (all kits had individual designs that alluded to each teams region and/or tradition)
