The Socceroos' new Away shirt again, like the Home kit, nods to the side's participation in the 1974 mundial, in the golden yellow johnny collar style and retro crest-on-shield, all on a "obsidian blue" backdrop.
The words “We Socceroos can do the impossible,” - spoken by Peter Wilson, the captain of the 1974 team squad - appear on the inside of the neck.

Also in the obsidian blue are the - slimmer cut than usual - shorts, and socks.
