Northern Ireland 2014 adidas Home Football Kit

alt

This is the new Northern Ireland Home kit by adidas which is available here.

The dark green shirt with lighter green detailing and stripes includes a watermark and is combined with white shorts and green socks.  It follows the template of many of adidas's 2014 range.

Creative Football T-Shirts at Footytees.com - Featuring prints by a range of talented artists

This version is 40% lighter than previous kits, with additional mesh panelling on the shoulders to add to existing weight, temperature control and breathability technology.

The Irish FA have also announced an extension to the partnership with adidas, now set to run until 2016.

FA Head of Marketing and Communications, Geoff Wilson stated, "money that we generate through this partnership continues to support our huge investment programme in grassroots and youth football. Every commercial deal we sign and every partnership we enter into has one sole aim – to help us secure the future of our game."

Horrible. Adidas have somehow managed to get our shade of green wrong again, but on this occasion they have introduced lime stripes to the equation.

There is no point debating the design if the colours are wrong in the first place.

You mean Bastian Schweinsteiger? It's his brother, Tobias Schweinsteiger!

Would be nice if there was white stripes instead of lime green, as were the "green and white army", hope the away kit is white now.

Could be worse...

Could be the Welsh home shirt

To be honest I rather like this shirt and Adidas are just trying to be different with...
a) their typical 3 stripe sleeved trademark (not a lot you can do with them apart from colour changes) and
b) it would be an issue if your away was to be the same colour as the strips on this no doubt it will be black AGAIN!!!

Amazing jersey, I love the way in which the neon green combines with the darker hue of the shirt. The collar's very nice as well. Great job from adidas.

They've changed the colouring of green on our shirts to a darker green and introduced lime green stripes.

I was looking forward to the new shirt but having seen it, I wish we'd have stuck with the green shirts with the white pin stripes, fantastic kit that one.
