The subtle shadow-effect stripes create a three dimensional impression to the shirt, making it stand out. It features underarm vents and M Performance System fabric to increase comfort, breathability and moisture absorption.

The home shirt devotes Aston Villa heritage for supreme club honour with its famous claret colour, collared neck and the roaring lion crest on the chest.

The shirt also includes ‘Villans’ detail to the back of the neck plus the logo of our new club sponsor Intuit QuickBooks, who are one of the top accounting software companies.

So Villa now have WBA's sponsor from last season and yet the logo has been altered to be more intrusive and larger; why?!

Effective and a good looking kit. Reminds me of an up dated 80's kit. Good work Macron

The kit launch images featured the words, "This is a big club". Obviously, this must be the case if were being told it by, erm, themselves. I wonder if the kit is water resistant for our pinniped friends...

Yes, because that's what springs to mind when you think of Aston Villa's shirt - it's famous collared neck. FFS.
