Norwich City Football Club launched its new Errea third kit for the 2016-17 Sky Bet Championship season.

With the success of last year's unique hooped shirt, the Club has designed another third shirt with a distinctive look, having taken inspiration from one of City's most famous kit, the 1992-94 home kit.

buy-now

Norwich City's Shirts are made by Errea, using their world renowned Mundial fabric, a high performance technical fabric which is also used by clubs in the highest professional leagues of Italy,Spain and France.

Mundial is a 145/sq.m. technical polyester, which is soft to the touch, is breathable and has moisture wicking technology; both of these features help to aid with the evaporation of sweat and, in turn, help to regulate body temperature.

As with all Errea fabrics, Mundial has been awarded the highly prestigious Oeko-Tex 100 certificate. This certificate is awarded by an internationally recognised testing and research agency and guarantees that the fabric (and of course, the finished shirt) are free from any harmful or toxic chemicals. Errea are the only company in the Teamwear sector to have achieved this important health and ecological certification.

What on earth is that!

Norwich last year created three kits in yellow and green, including a third kit which was a contender for worst kit ever that was the same colour as their home shirt.

This year they have nodded to their quite pathetic history by choosing to replicate a kit which pretty much tops every worst kit ever poll.

They realise that the idea is to sell these right?

Clearly Norwich know they don't really need a 3rd kit, so the 2 they have had, they've just had some fun with it and designed something different, which gets people talking about the club. That has worked both times.

Well they do need a third kit when both their kits clash with Burton Albion and to a lesser extent Wolves.

Yes I know that. That's not what I meant. We could've had a yellow home kit and then the away kit in white. There is no need for 3 kits other than income. Thinking about it, when would we be able to wear the black away kit anyway? Burton wear a lot of black and so do Wolves. So it clash with both of them

It's tempting to look at this and think WTF is that! But actually, at least it's different and original. Rather this than one of those standard issue Nike kits with stupid socks. Do you know what? Bravo errea!

Recalls the (in)famous 1994 home and away set. Now quite as bad, mind you, but that isn't saying much.

The whole point about that 1994 kit was it was one of the most ugly, poorly designed pieces of nylon shite ever created for any club anywhere. SO WHY PRETEND IT WAS "ICONIC"? It was only "iconic" to Ipswich fans who couldn't stop laughing at it...

Norwich's third kit paying homage to either bird poo or those seat designs that you see on buses and trains. Lol!!!!
