AC Milan presented the new 2019-20 Puma home kit, which takes inspiration from one of the club's most successful years to celebrate the Rossoneri's 120th anniversary.

The 2019/20 AC Milan Home kit celebrates the successes of 1969, with a bold and elegant design that honors the game-changing style of play the club demonstrated 50 years ago.

In 1969, AC Milan took centre stage in global football by winning their second European Cup in Madrid in May, before being crowned Intercontinental Cup champions in October. In the same year, for his personal performances, club icon Gianni Rivera won the Ballon d'Or award, becoming the first of six Rossoneri winners of the coveted prize.

The design features classic narrow Rossoneri stripes, and a black round collar for a modern interpretation of the classic 1960s AC Milan kit. The jersey features PUMA's dryCELL technology, a moisture-controlling technology that is incorporated into the material to draw sweat away from the skin to the surface, ensuring a dry interface on the body even during strenuous exercise.

The new shirt made its on-pitch debut on May 19 during the club's final Serie A home fixture at the San Siro.

Doesn't get much better than that for a Milan shirt

Very nice kit.

Awesome kit. Take it back to basics and it looks lovely compared to this year's Inter and Juve's stripes. Only negatives are the badge is really small and the logos are screen printed not embroidered which looks a bit cheap.

Not sure that the badge is that small; seems an all right size. I feel like the size of Milan's badge often looks deceptive because of its shape. The replica shirt has embroidered club badge and Puma logos, as seen in the Milan online store, for 30 euros less than the authentic: http://store.acmilan.com/en/ac-milan-home-jersey-2019-20.html .

Agree with you that printed badge/logos look cheaper, but I think it comes down to going a little overboard with the amount of "tech" on the kits. Yeah, we really have to eliminate all the wind resistance or discomfort badge and logo embroidery might create.... They did that with the 18/19 shirt (and shorts) as well. I suppose carried far enough, it changes for some the perception of quality elements on a kit, prioritizing ever-further sleekness over traditional detailwork like embroidery. Not my cup, but who knows?

Overall it's a solid design - shirt has the stripe pattern basically like the adidas 11/12 home shirt, but doesn't have all the...

Overall it's a solid design - shirt has the stripe pattern basically like the adidas 11/12 home shirt, but doesn't have all the extra bits that shirt had. Would be interesting to see this in long sleeves - probably simple black cuffs. I wonder if they'll do a "special edition" sponsorless shirt this year as well...did it for the 18/19, but I think only for the authentic and not the replica.

This is excellent. Well done Puma. Simple, unfussy, classic. It actually looks like a football shirt from the 1960s and all the better for it.

Puma does brilliant for Milan every time and couldnt do one decent shirt for arsenal in 5 years
