Charlton Athletic’s new third kit by Hummel for the 2019/20 season has been revealed.

The ‘scuba and marine’ coloured change strip is the first of three new kits to be unveiled for the Addicks return to the Championship and will be worn when necessary to avoid any colour clashes with the club’s home and away colours for the new campaign.

The kit will also act as the away kit for Charlton Athletic Women’s team as they look to build on last season WSL Championship promotion challenge.

The ‘scuba’ shirt features a round neck with ‘marine’ and white panels under the arms, while hummel’s distinctive chevrons appear on the shoulders in grey with a hint of yellow piping.

The shorts, meanwhile, are predominantly ‘marine’ coloured and the kit is complemented by matching ‘marine’ socks.

The shirt provides a first glimpse of Children with Cancer UK’s partnership with the club, with the charity’s logo taking pride of place following the announcement that BETDAQ’s holding company GVC had donated their sponsorship for the 2019/20 season.

Elsewhere, ITRM continue to appear on the back of the shirt, while fellow sponsors Cannon Glass take up their position on the back of the Addicks’ shorts.

Now look back at the Sunderland away kit, how did Adidas mess up so much with the sponsor logo on that one? Well done all those involved with the CWC advertising though ?

Nice top,but would be a real stunner if the shorts and socks were the same blue as the top.

Precisely my feelings! The navy ruins the kit, it would be a good bordering on masterpiece kit if the entire kit matched the shirt.

Another very plain almost tee shirt like shirt but quite smart. Nice touch with the charity sponsorship too. Think socks matching the shirt would improve it though.

Great kit. The Navy sets of the shirt perfectly.

Is the navy another nod to Charlton's older cousins Millwall?

When Charlton were founded in 1905 they chose the same suffix as the club just across the Thames in North Greenwich - Millwall Athletic. This was in admiration of their pioneering and domination of the Southern League and runs to the FA Cup Semi-Finals of 1900 and 1903, which included famous victories over the likes of Everton, Preston, Derby and the mighty Aston Villa team of the period.

And of course Millwall donned dark navy blue as their colours.

Very smart kit, overall Simple but classy and nice touch with the sponsorship
I think the navy shorts add to it tbh, personally don't think all the same colour would have worked as well, although possibly socks matching shirt could have.
