Coventry City 2019-20 Hummel Home Kit

Coventry City 2019-20 Hummel Home Kit #CoventryCity #footballshirt #ccfc

Coventry City have revealed the new home kit by Hummel for the 19/20 season.

The shirt is inspired by the classic designs of the 1980s, when Hummel first provided kits for Coventry City, and are bespoke to the Sky Blues.

The home kit features a Sky Blue and White contrast gradient design, and includes the famous Hummel chevrons on the arms.

Coventry City have also teamed up with hummel to launch ZEROH2O.

Normally, it takes 25 litres of fresh clean water to dye just one single football shirt, and every two years, it takes the entire volume of the Mediterranean Sea to colour the world’s textiles – which is simply not sustainable.

The new ZEROH2O concept sportswear – introduced by Coventry City and hummel this season - will see zero water consumption and zero waste-water discharges – setting a new standard for eco-efficiency and reducing energy consumption by 50%. The new initiative fits well into hummel’s overall mission to change the world through sport.

@Plook We never wore a Hummel shirt like this in the cup final when Houchen scored that header

Absolutely hideous! Only joking. It's a beauty. Evokes memories of Preben Elkjaer at Mexico '86, and Trev is spot on; Houchen's flying header. Very tastefully and subtly put together. Coventry fans couldn't wish for better.

WOW... takes me back to that diving, flying Keith Houchen header at Wembley!

If only she shorts were dark blue...

Refreshingly understated sponsors logo that doesn't take anything away from the kit. ???

One of the best shirts I’ve seen so far. Would be a 10/10 but loses a point for that cheap stuck on badge. Should have a woven badge

Got to say as a Sheff Utd fan that the home and away kits for Coventry City this coming season are by far and away THE best kits of the year. In fact the best of the past few years. Superb

All other kit manufacturers should be sent to Coventry to see how it's done.

What can you do with a plain shirt people say! I applaud Coventry's ability to go with different designs. Ever since the Admiral tramlines they have been happy to try out something different. I won't mention the brown away kit! The Talbot T is just one example. As a West Brom fan I always enjoy playing Coventry, there is often a lot of goals- either way. Top design, keep them coming.

I was thimking about this kit. It’s a bit special. But it’s really unusual for a kit associated with failure, losing to Sutton in the third round of the cup, to be regarded as such a classic by fans of the team. Just goes to show what a great design the original was. And this is a stunning update of the original

What an amazing home shirt for a team that doesn’t actually have its own home.

Absolute masterpiece, well done Hummel. In a year of bland and awful kits this really shines through! Wish I supported Coventry.
