Derby County 2019-20 Umbro Away Kit

Derby County’s new away kit by Umbro has been revealed today.

The bold and striking atomic blue kit features a matt-shine shattered diamond jacquard fabric on the shirt with black panel inserts at the side and shoulder.

The shirt also has a stylised crew with black contrast rib, black raised rubber club crest and ‘Rams’ in the club’s bespoke BBG typeface on the back of the neck.

The shorts feature a black side panel and raised rubber crest, and the socks have a black double diamond with cotton footbed and instep cool zone technology.

As with the home kit, the away kit will be adorned with the logo of 32Red, who are entering the second season of their agreement as Derby’s principal shirt sponsor.

The shading of the shirt reminds me of the Mediterranean Sea. Not an ocean but a sea, waves with no tide, nets with no fish. A luddite soldier in a sea of synchronisation. Think pre-Rafalyte art meets late 20th century cubism and you have it. The badge looks like my dogs bum hole.
