This Nike Chelsea shirt, designed for pre-match warmups in the 2020-21 season, has an allover print with the implication of London buildings as well as a hint of an influence from Nike Air trainer sole tread.

In “Concorde”, “Ember Glow” and white - blue, in the main - the shirt provides a (slightly) cheaper alternative for fans who are under-enamoured with the new Chelsea playing wear.

What is this nonsense with pre-match T-shirts? What's wrong with players warming up in their actual kit and tracksuit top (if necessary).

I will answer my own question - this retails at £50, and is simply a marketing ploy for clubs and manufacturers to wring more money out of the (more gullible) fans.

Totally agree . So expensive nowadays especially if you got kids who want the latest kits.

Don't be so cynical you two.
They're thinking of the fans, providing a "cheaper" alternative to the playing wear.
They're doing it for the fans, what a wonderful gesture from the manufacturers
