RB Leipzig revealed their new Nike home football shirt to be worn for the 2020/21 season.

The special feature of the new home jersey is the red lightning “flash pattern” down the side of the shirt. These are complimented by dynamic lines that run harmoniously upwards towards the back of the shirt in the form of two powerful wings. The design underpins what the kit and RB Leipzig stand for; dynamism, power, strength, courage and a hunger for success.

Inside the neck Nike has incorporated the tagline “Die Roten Bullen” and the skyline of the city of Leipzig. These special assets stand for team spirit and symbolise the team’s connection with their fans and the city of Leipzig.

The kit is made from a specially developed material that flows into a mesh material from under the chest to be more breathable and facilitate movement. The breathable material ensures excellent ventilation and the ergonomic seams allow freedom of movement.

The fact that we now have football teams named after fizzy drinks shows how much the soul has been ripped out of modern football. How can their fans wear this with pride?

They aren’t named after a fizzy drink so get your facts right first....

Rasen Ballsport Leipzig... not actually a drink really is it

Actually, he did get his facts right. They had to make up 'Rasen Ballsport,' because it wasn't allowed to use the brand name. So, they were originally named after a fizzy drink.

There are huge money makers, or big brands behind every big club.. Take it easy...

I know the rules state you can’t have a company logo on, or as a team’s crest but that crest quite clearly has the Red Bull logo on it. They’ve barely tried to change it.

If another drinks company put that crest logo on their cans Red Bull would definitely sue them for copyright infringement, not be like we never noticed any similarities because that logo is SO different from our.

Though RB Leipzig is basically a team owned by Red Bull, which I’m not a fan of, this is quite a lovely kit.

Politics are everywhere in football, RB are just perhaps being honest as to what they are. Anyway looks a great shirt.
