Cult French side Red Star FC have released their new Away shirt by adidas.

The 2020-21 Championnat Nacional season shirt echoes the design of the Home version. The white Condivo 20 base is, with the help of the Acid FC collective, embellished with the local flea market referencing “Toile de Jouy” effect in red, which illustrates the history of the widely-admired club.

All further decoration - the adidas logo and shoulder stripes and the adapted crest, as well as the logo of partner Vice - also appears in tones of red.

The shirt has been launched as part of a venture comprising reaching out to local institutions of education to offer engagement with young people.

I don't know which is worse - the design or the sponsor

The worst football shirt ever, no question.

A crime against aesthetics.

I have to say I absolutely love this strip. Probably the best Adidas strip in ages. It's so nice having a random away strip. I think the home strip should always be traditional and the away should have a quirky theme. I would love this sort or strip as a Hearts Away strip.

Sadly, this is what happens when wanky collegeboy designers in cool glasses think they know about football. All "hip, so-cool designs" and absolutely no football heritage. Appalling. They need a good slap. Get these trendy "football fashion" scum out of our game.
