Torquay United FC revealed their new Home kit for the upcoming 20/21 season.

Following the unprecedented success of last year’s ground-breaking release, the club is pleased to confirm that Gary Johnson’s men will continue to wear kit produced by sportswear giants, Nike, in collaboration with official kit partners, Pro:Direct.

Paying homage to Torquay’s status as the heart of the English Riviera, the home shirt features an eye-catching central stripe with a repeating palm tree pattern. Not just any palm tree, either – it’s the famously hardy Torquay Palm, known for its resilience and durability, characteristics that have served United’s players well since the club’s formation in 1899.

All three kits are brilliant. Great choice of colours, the style is excellent. The "1889" logo is not overpowering.

As a Torquay supporter I ummed and aahed a lot about buying last season’s shirt and in the end decided I couldn’t pay £45 for what was basically a yellow t-shirt. I was hopeful that there’d be something more bespoke this season and I suppose with the palm tree stripe that’s basically what’s happened. But that’s it. Apart from that stripe and a slightly lighter shade of blue, there’s hardly any difference from last season’s shirts. Still not paying £45 for a t-shirt.

How miserable - what about all that money saved from not going to matches this season? Go on, buy one you tight mother hubbard

Clean, stylish, fairly simple with a twist. I know I’m biased but Torquay have released three of the best kits this summer.
