In February 2007 these vintage Liverpool matchworn shirts went up for auction on Ebay. A Liverpool adidas 1986 FA cup Final shirt and a Liverpool 1984 Umbro shirt did not sell. And the owner of an 89/90 match worn home shirt sold it for: £455.00 The sellers added the following information:
1986 FA CUP FINAL LIVERPOOL SHIRT,signed by team original shirt worn by Jim Beglin in the 1986 Fa Cup Final.signed by the team.Not a reproduction,not a shirt that was bought in the club shop and signed after the event or a copy signed years later for a charity dinner. shirt was given to seller when he lived next door to Phil Thompson in Knowsley,Liverpool and is only selling as emigrating and needs the money. this is 100 percent genuine and you will not be dissapointed. Seller also has many genuine signed LFC items from the 80,s and early 90,s I am selling this item on behalf of my future son in law and he will gladly give you any details you require, just call him on the number in the ad.thanks £2,000.00 (not sold)
