In April 2007 these matchworn middlesbrough 1970's Murdoch shirt and match-worn Celtic 2007 Nakamura shirts were sold on ebay. The sellers added the following information

OFFICIAL RARE 1970s SHIRT HAS EMBROIDERED BADGE AND WAS MADE BY BUKTA AND HAS NUMBER 7 ON BACK AND HAS BEEN MATCHWORN BY EX LISBON LION [ PART OF FIRST BRITISH TEAM TO WIN EUROPEAN CUP BACK IN LISBON IN 1967 ] AND GLASGOW CELTIC HERO THE LATE GREAT BOBBY MURDOCH WHO PLAYED WITH MIDDLESBOROUGH FROM 1973-76 AFTER LEAVING JOCK STEINS CELTIC

SHIRT WAS MADE IN ENGLAND

 NOTE THIS IS A VERY RARE ORIGINAL 1970s SHIRT NOT A RETRO SHIRT.IT CAME FROM A COLLECTION FROM A PUB IN CLYDEBANK SCOTLAND THAT SPECIALIZED IN OLD FIRM CELTIC AND RANGERS AND OTHER FOOTBALL ITEMS

SIZE ADULT X LARGE CHEST APPROX 40/42" HEIGHT 183/188

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT OLDER SHIRTS WERE SMALLER MADE THAN SHIRTS TODAY

VERY GOOD CONDITION 8.5/10 BUT HAS BEEN IN FRAME WITH MATCHWORN STAIN ON BACK NEAR CLOTH NUMBER

IT WAS WORN IN THIS YEARS SFL FIXTURE AGAINST INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE AND WAS GIVEN , AFTER THE GAME, TO MY FRIEND RITCHIE HART, WHO PLAYS FOR INVERNESS.

ITs AUTHENTICITY IS UNDOUBTED AS THE SHIRT HAS NO LABEL AND HAS THE BANK OF SCOTLAND TAGS ON EACH SLEEVE
