The away kit -- to be used in the 2007/08 and 2008/09 campaigns -- marks the first time the club will have played in tangerine since the Umbro away kit launched in summer 1994.

The new shirts will be available priced at GBP 39.99 adults and GBP 29.99 juniors. Shorts and socks will also be available.

Oldham Athletic Association Football Club is an English football club based at Boundary Park, on Sheepfoot Lane, Oldham. They are currently playing in Coca-Cola League 1.

The club's nickname is "Latics", a shortening of the word 'Athletic', a name also shared by near neighbours Wigan Athletic.The club was formed in 1895 and originally known as Pine Villa F.C., changing the club name in 1899. Oldham joined the Football League in 1907/08 and were promoted to the top flight a couple of years later.

The current limited company was formed after some months in administration (near-bankruptcy) during 2003/4; the club's immediate future was secured on 3 February 2004, when a group of American-based expatriate British businessmen bought the club, forming a new company Oldham Athletic (2004) Association Football Club Ltd.

Oldham have never won a major trophy, but they did reach the League Cup final in 1990 (losing 1-0 to Nottingham Forest), finished league runners-up in 1915, and were F.A Cup semi-finalists in 1913 (losing to Aston Villa), 1990 and 1994 (losing both times to eventual winners Manchester United).

 Their most recent spell in the top flight lasted from 1991 until 1994, and on the final day of the inaugural Premiership season (1992-93) they avoided relegation on goal difference after a remarkable 4-3 win over Southampton.
