Ebay : Match Worn Northern Ireland 80's shirt E-mail

MATCH WORN Northern Ireland player shirt from the mid to late 1980s

Up for auction : MATCH WORN NORTHERN IRELAND 80s ADIDAS SHIRT TRIKOT TOP

The seller added the following: MATCH WORN Northern Ireland player shirt from the mid to late 1980s, the most glorious period in Northern Ireland's history. This shirt really is a fantastic piece of football history for any fan. This rare long-sleeved shirt has embroidered crest and adidas logo common only with match worn shirts of the era, with the r sign stitched twice into the adidas badge - again not a feature of replica jerseys. To my understanding, adidas also never produced long-sleeve shirts for general sale in the 1980s and only started in the last ten years.

The number on the back is 10 and is stitched carefully on to the shirt.

The label says size medium, to fit 97-102.

Unfortuntely, I cannot confirm who wore the shirt but I'm sure the great Norman Whiteside was a regular member of the side at the time and often wore the number during his career.

Thanks for looking and if you have any queries about the shirt then please feel free to ask. I am happy to post abroad and can supply prices as well as more photos of the crest, number and adidas logos on request.
