Why would Adidas have even made 09/09 jerseys for Liverpool and Chelsea. Why not wait until after the summer. The Liverpool home jersey is ok, but not as nice as the current home one. The away jersey is dreadful and hope that it is fake.

I liked having a mini-collar with the current ones.

I already expected this, cuz Adidas uses the same template for a lot of teams, and National teams with Adidas also wear this template.
Nice kits though, I like the simplicity.
btw has anyone noticed the \'mobile\' part of \'SAMSUNG mobile\' is gone?(Chelsea kit)

indeed IF the chelsea one looks similiar to that mock up it\'s ace.

sponsors already look better if the stand alone and not a sub company (ie Siemens/Samsung etc instead of Siemens /Samsung Mobile or so)

what is really nice is that collar with the little trim. Umbro-like during the mid 90s I think.

as for poster number 1:

kits get brainstormed & designed (template, colors, combinations etc) almost 1 year before the get released. Ssometimes depending on the club/country they get around 5 versions to select from, when that is done they will start planning, shooting advertising and producing the kits.

Ben makes a good point. I bought a version of the first Man United Vodafone shirt 2000 some weeks before the official release, which crucially ended up with too much black in the collar and with the narrow back print stripes less pronounced. That taught me.

Simple, watch the picture at the top of the page (this gives you some information about the collar etc.).
Then use Photoshop to edit an existing shirt.

my guess is that they are all fake those shirts look like crappy material

the chelsea kit is boo the old one was better i have hade chelsea history ive sopported chelsea for all my life the new yellow kit is so plane its got no flavior in it its just yellow its ugly that need lankefing into a white kit or a black kit

If this is true about liverpool releasing another 3 shirts this year it\'ll make a total of 8 shirts in 3 years which i find unexceptable (All 3 new addidas shirts when they took over the kits in 2006, then an away and 3rd shirt last year). I for 1 will not be putting my hand in my pocket again

i like how they keep it simple, on the home, and its better cuz it doesnt have tht annoying collar now from the previous home kit lol. ima get me home one in longsleeve =)

Becuase the kits get launched in late May-early June, so that the teams can use them in pre-season friendlies etc. adidas usually start designing new ideas around December the year before they release them.

They are real my m8 had one on in sckool the other day the wagon crashed and loads robbed kits it look nice in he naked eye

What you\'v got to understand about the liverpool/ chelsea home kits is their an attempt at a retro look which i think works quite well for both. Simple but elegent, too many shirts are full of too much crap and look shit. from what iv seen of the grey away shirt, make the club logo and carlsberg red aswell and it mirrors the candy shirt from our last league championship.
