Vasco da Gama 08/09 Reebok kits launched

The young players Alan Kardec and Alex Teixeira show the uniforms white/black and black/white, respectively. The goalkeeper-artilheiro Tiago dressed in wine-red and black shirts. Besides that, these two versions will be used as training shirts in a blue colour.

These are the new Vasco da Gama home, away and goalkeeper kits for the 2008-2009 season made by Reebok.

On this Monday morning (28/01) at the headquarters of Náutica da Lagoa, Vasco celebrated the partnership with MRV Engenharia, signing the contract and presenting a new shirt with the logo of the sponsor. The event had the presence of the boards of both institutions, and invited press.

The young players Alan Kardec and Alex Teixeira show the uniforms white/black and black/white, respectively. The goalkeeper-artilheiro Tiago is dressed in a wine-red kit. Besides that, these two versions will be used as training shirts in a blue colour.

The debut of the new shirt will be next Wednesday (30/01) 21:45 pm, when Vasco will face Resende in São Januário for the Carioca Championship, with live transmission of TV aberta.

You know when players put Vics vapor rub on the front of their kits...? looks like him in the red top has done that in a nice cross pattern.... Ug!

The new kit will be launch in february. The new look are same São Paulo and Internacional.

That\'s not a KKK badge =D... That\'s called \"Cross pattée\", or \"Cruz Pátea\" in Portuguese.

It was used as a symbol by the Portuguese navigators during the Discoveries Era.

Curiosity: Instead of being a Cross pattée, people linked to the club references to it as Maltese cross (Cruz de Malta).
