Lot includes Alan Balls Everton wageslip from 24th January 1970 and a postcard sent from Englands Mexico 1970 training camp to the vendor by Alan Ball.
Footnote:The first semi-final to take place in 1966 was that between England and Portugal. This match in contrast to the second semi-final turned out to be an exciting game. Bobby Charlton upstaged Eusebio with what many believe was his finest ever game for England and he even received congratulatory handshakes from the Portuguese after his spectacular second goal. The most poignant image of this game was Eusebio’s tears as he left the pitch heartbroken in defeat.
