The seller added the following : THIS SHIRT WAS WORN IN THE 1958 WORLD CUP FINALS HELD IN SWEDEN. IT WAS WORN IN THE 3RD/4TH PLACE PLAY OFF WIN V GERMANY (6-3) ON 28TH AUGUST. SHIRT COMES WITH DOUIS AIR FRANCE TICKET TO THE FINALS, AN UNUSED WORLD CUP POSTCARD, A FOLDING BOOKLET WITH PICTURE OF FRANCE SQUAD WITH FACSIMILE SIGNATURES AND A MONO PRESS PHOTO OF THE TEAM. YVONNE DOUIS PLAYED FOR THREE FRENCH CLUBS, LILLE, LE HAVRE AND MONACO. HE MADE 19 APPEARANCES FOR FRANCE BETWEEN 1953 AND 1959.

SHIRT IS IN VERY VERY GOOD CONDITION, BUT DOUIS ONLY PLAYED IN THIS ONE GAME IN THE WORLD CUP, SO NOT OVER USED. MUST HAVE BEEN WELL LOOKED AFTER.

DOUIS SCORED IN THE GAME.

SHIRT BOUGHT FROM A COLLECTOR WHO GOT IT FROM KNIGHTS AUCTION HOUSE - COMES WITH CATALOGUE THAT THE SHIRT IS LISTED IN.
