Wolverhampton Wanderers 08-09 Le Coq Sportif kits leaked
Wednesday, 30 April 2008
Nigel wanted to show us this early shot of what appears to be samples of the Wolves' new home and away kits made by Le Coq Sportif for the 2008-2009 season.
Wolverhampton Wanderers play in one of the most famous and recognisable strips in British football.
The traditional colours are old gold shirts and black shorts although in the club's early days the team sported various versions of these colours including old gold and black stripes and old gold and black diagonal halves.
The traditional away colour of the Wolves is all white but they used black kits and dark blue kits a lot in the last 4 seasons.
Why are in the first kit both shirt and shorts in the same color and in the third shorts are black and which of those three is home, away and third? Thanks
The nearest shirt is the short sleeved home shirt in 'sports' fit, eg. the one players wear; the middle is the away kit and the far one is the 'leisure' version, ie. for fans to wear - baggy as opposed to the tight 'sports' fit.
These pictures were leaked by someone I know on the Wolves forums yesterday but they were later politely told by the clubs to remove the pictures as they're not being unveiled until tomorrow evening!
Will the Sporting Fit kit be able to be bought or is that just for the players?
And can i just add why cant people see that the left shirt and the right shirt are the same apart from the fit and one has long sleeves?
Are you people really that thick?
they only have different shorts to show that we have 2 types.
Moving on about the kits...
At last!
A fitted kit with a normal sized/shaped neckline as for the usual MASSIVE neckline with the OVERSIZED fitting that we always seem to have.
Granted the shorts and the Away shirt are rubbish but at least we have a nice home shirt worth spending the money on.
When was the last time Wolves had a decent kit? The 70s? The League Cup Final? One awful design after another. You'd think they'd be proud of the shirt and protect the tradition wouldn't you?
wolfie 98 yes it was me...
- Orange,ginger or gold

I think they are ok.
But I'd love Wolves to bite the bullet and go for GOLD rather than orange or some sort of ginger. Don't u guys go getting all traditional on me, I'm fully aware we play in old gold, but really folks, lets face it its orange and at worst ginger. Lets not be scared to play in gold. It would certainly look nicer than this damned colour we all have to buy at the moment. I for one would love not to have to buy the away shirt just because i dont wanna stand out like an oversized fruit.
Gold make em gold
Hi to the coldseal pigs.... :grin
This kit is hideous. It's the wrong colour. Since when have we ever played in pale orange?? This is worse than the one we had in 92/93 with the trye marks all over. The only good things about it is that we've gone back to gold socks and we've only got to put up with it for a year.gPL
I think its quite nice. Its not the perfect gold colour but we havn't had that for ages it could be worse an look like the dreaded 01/02 top which was browny orange
Is the one in the midle definatly the second or is it the goalie top etc..
The home kits nice wna but it but aint keen on the away shirt i agree wiv blak bt nt wiv flourescent yellow neway who cares about the kits Cum on u Wolves!!!!!!
the left and right ones are not the goalie kits not the third shirt they am both the same shirt its just one has gold shorts and short sleeves and the other has longer sleeves and black shorts and a bit looser for the podgey
