New Wolves 08/09 home Le Coq Sportif kit launched E-mail
Friday, 02 May 2008

Wolves' new home strip for the 2008/09 season was exclusively revealed at last night's End of Season Awards Dinner. Players, Karl Henry, Darren Ward and Matt Jarvis, took to the stage in the new kit, which is manufactured by Le Coq Sportif and sponsored by chaucer consulting.com.

After the leaked pictures of a few days ago and the signing of a new Le Coq Sportif kit deal, Wolves' new home strip for the 2008/09 season was exclusively revealed at last night's End of Season Awards Dinner. Players, Karl Henry, Darren Ward and Matt Jarvis, took to the stage in the new kit, which is manufactured by Le Coq Sportif and sponsored by chaucer consulting.com. The Fans' Parliament members gave their views on a selection of potential designs before the final kit was chosen.

The home kit will be available to pre-order from today (Friday 2nd May 2008) at the official retail stores at Molineux or Dudley Street. The shirts will be on sale from Friday 16th May 2008.

Prices have been frozen at last year's levels (adult home shirts will cost GBP 40 and junior home shirts GBP 30) and, in addition, for a limited period only fans who buy a new adult home shirt will be able to purchase a child's shirt or mini kit for half price (offer ends 31st May 2008).

I really like that badge. Simular to the 80s Roma, I think.
Wazzock   |2008-05-02
I don't like it.

It's the same colours as the Hull City Umbro-manufactured kit but far inferior.
David  - Agree   |2008-05-02
I def agree!
MS   |2008-05-02
Its awful and I have a feeling those storm clouds are going to be a lot darker on sunday afternoon.
Gervillian Swike   |2008-05-02
As it turns out, it looks a lot better than it did in the leaked photos. But that badge needs changing - why not try and bring back the three wolves in some shape or form, or at least let the wolf's head stand alone proudly, instead of being shielded in a hexagon of all things.

That is another appalling strip, please can we get a better sponser....Canterbury like Portsmouth would be perfect
James Lee   |2008-05-03

fl3m   |2008-05-04
It's good.

Wolves are one of those teams that are a bit tricky to design kits for; if you risk doing something innovative, it can fail
quite badly (eg early 90s scuff marked shirt or the 96-98 experimental Puma one). Inevitably the best Wolves kits of the last 15-20 years were the self made, very traditional old gold shirts.

LCS have managed to do something distinctive without it being naff.

Their colours reminds me of EuroNCAP crash test dummies.

Really, they use this pale orange and dark grey.
