Bristol City unveiled their new home and away shirts for the 2008/09 season made by Puma. City revealed the colours to be worn by Gary Johnson's men in the new campaign will be exclusively red and white. At home the kit takes on a red shirt, white shorts and red socks theme, with the reverse (white shirt, red shorts and white socks theme) for the away strip.
The current 2007/2008 season's kit, made by Puma (in the 2nd of a 4 year deal) also has matching home and away strips. The club will also have a new third strip of black and white, however this will not be made available for sale to supporters. Technical kit suppliers Puma designed the kit, which also sees a return to the front of the shirt for DAS, the club's new main sponsors. Blackthorn and Lancer Scott will be back of shirt and back of short sponsors respectively.
Adults shirts (small up to XXXL) are priced at GBP 40, Youth and Ladies (8-18) sizes are GBP 35, while small, medium and large boys are GBP 30. Supporters can also pre-order their shirt with letters and numbers printed at a set cost of GBP 12.
Looking really good. I especially like the away kit as i think the white with red DAS embossed on the front looks classy. I don't like the home kit as much as it just looks too red, and almost as if it is made out of cloth in a strange way! However, it is imcredibly original and i couldn't have done any better really. I know i'll be getting the away version this summer.
now that DAS are sponsoring the shit again theres no need to fork out any money on these kits. just dig out the shirts from 3 years ago out from the back of your wardrobe's and your ready to go!
