Hibernian launched a brand new 08/09 away kit made by Le Coq Sportif. With prices frozen at last year's level for the new-look vibrant yellow kit, the club believes interest will be keen. The kit already received thumbs-up from the club's players and coaching staff.

Manager Mixu Paatelainen comments : "The support our fans give us- in any way - is fantastic and every time they buy direct from the club they are providing us with very real tangible support and we do appreciate it. "

Prices for the away shirt strart at GBP 24.99 (child ss) and GBP 34.99 (adult ss). The new 2008-2009n away kit is made of high tech, high preformance breathable fabric. The shirts bear the logo of sponsors Whyte & Mackay, with the shorts boasting the the logo of new shorts sponsor F & C investments.

Marketing and Communication Director, Ian Spence said : We expect the fans will get right behind the stunning new yellow kit. Our fans expect Hibernian kit to be stylish and high quality and I'm confident that, with Le Coq Sportif, we are meeting those aspirations."

"In addition, strong emphasis is given to the Hibernian green colours along with black, through asymmetrical detailing which is carried out throughout the jersey, shorts and socks. No matter what angle the player is seen in action, the kit will look different due to the attention to colour detailing. the kit will be unmistakeably Hibernian's"

The away football kit launch is supported by a high profile advertising campaign.

It's okay, although I'd rather go back to the old reverse, white body with green
sleeves. That being said could have been another horrible purple effort.

well...it's a really nice kit considering its colors...

It's a brave effort...don't think I like it, but it could grow on me. The
stripes replicated on the other side would have improved it I think.

hibees away jeresys should either
be white/green, bottle green or navy/green

sticking with the same home kit they have worn this season.Good colours as well
and will not clash with anyone unless West brom pop over to Leith in their away
