These are the new VFB Stuttgart home, away and 3rd football shirts for the 08-09 season made by Puma. VFB Stuttgart was formed through the 2 April 1912 merger of predecessor sides Stuttgarter FV (1893) and Kronen-Club Cannstatt (1890) following a meeting in the Concordia hotel in Cannstatt. Each of these clubs was made up of school pupils with middle class roots who learned new sports such as rugby union and football from English pioneers.
VfB are nicknamed "the Reds" for their team colours, featuring a red chest ring on white jerseys. Local rivals Stuttgarter Kickers, wearing blue and white, are "the Blues".
see the two stripes on the right shoulder of the third shirt? tottenham hotspur has the same stripes on their new black third shirt... whats that all about?
Something strange that the home jersey (white!) has got the cut of the Puma away-shirts (look at Italy - white away shirt with this cut) and the red away shirts the cut of the typically home shirts...
They may have to get rid of the stripes on the puma 3rd shirts, adidas are looking to extend there copyright too the 2 stripe design as well as the 3. They have a point!
Spurs should have had there 2nd kit with the colours between the color like the white stuttgart one
