This is the new Real Madrid home kit for the 08/09 season

This is the new Real Madrid home kit for the 08/09 season. Leaked pictures of the home and away adidas shirts are on the web for a while now, But Real Madrid will unveil next season's kit during their title celebration ceremony at the Santiago Bernabéu on 18 May.

The new home kit includes a collared shirt with black trim, while the away shirt is a cobalt blue with white trim. Both include adidas' revolutionary ClimaCool® with flow mapping technology which enhances player performance by keeping the body at optimal temperature.

The kit has been anatomically designed in order to optimize the fit and comfort of each player and includes 3-D engineered patterns allowing ultimate player performance through increased ventilation and moisture management.

speak (and write) correct english.
P.S. The website is very good. CIAO

Awesome kits! How can adidas make a masterpiece like this and turn churn out the
crap that is France's blue shirt.
Rod   |2008-05-14
best Real kit in years...simple and great...

I just wish I could see better
pics of that Casillas kit though, cuz I'm still unsure about that one...after
all, if it looks like the national teams GK kit, it's ugly as hell...
Adrian   |2008-05-14
Adidas is running out of ideas :cry
mikie   |2008-05-14
I like the kits design, but I hate the '.com' part above the bwin logo, it just
f*cks it up.
Anonymous  - bruinallover   |2008-05-14
I have always thought that Real should be trimmed in purple which I believe is a
Royal (Real) colour. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Again an Adidas shirt
with a Club Badge on it instead of a Club Shirt made by Adidas, they did a plain
white with a crest a few years back which they will never improve on.

Ditto
Liverpool, Chelsea etc. Nike have them beat every time.

I don't like it
It was very much better the purple instead of the black
It
seems Milan away shirt
Scoobie   |2008-05-14
So, basically, it's the white version of Chelsea's strip.

I also agree with
'bruinallover', why do Adidas insist on that assymetrical look with their logo
and the club crest? I hate it!

As much as I'm not a fan of Nike, at least they
go the simple approach.
Jay   |2008-05-14
Yawn. Like the long, simple shorts but that's about it.
sw   |2008-05-14
i think this is appalling, i cant understand when real use black instead of purple. the current kit is
far far better than this
Joe  - to adrian   |2008-05-15
Adidas is not running out of ideas. they are just going back to the plan, old
school looks, like the new chelsea kit. i like both of them a lot.
Hirsty   |2008-05-15
Didn't they just get a new one? A new kit every season is just starting to get
ridiculous...
sick of adidas   |2008-05-15
they need to get rid of those shit three stripes. every f*ckin shirt has them on
it. nike dont need something like that so why do adidas
Ruslan  - three stripes   |2008-05-16
This is actually the Adidas style - to have these three stripes
Anonymous   |2008-05-17
ajax's home shirts dont have the three stripes.....why are they like the ONLY
team that doesnt have them?? I think a lot of creativity is interrupted due to
teams havin to keep the stripes on the shirt.
ben  - better   |2008-05-15
much nicer than the last few seasons; simpler.
no where as good as
this:

Raul Madird   |2008-05-15
Good SHIRT ^^
Anonymous   |2008-05-15
so good, this kit for the champion of 08/09 season
Emre  - Black or purple   |2008-05-15
What is the colour of Real Madrid?

Purple and white or black and white?

I
think adidas should use purple stripes on the kits and also spanish flag colours
which is red and yellow.
jim  - mr     |2008-05-15
worst kit theyve had in years its absaloutly shockin shame on you spaniens
Sanchodavila  - Purple   |2008-05-15
This looks like a polo shirt, actually quite boring. And with the black stripes
it could as well be Rosenborg or Tottenham. The purple used to be the Real
colour but a few years ago they began to use black which is ridicolous.

Big
disappointment!!
9torres   |2008-05-15
i think it wud be a lot better wit purple instead of black :zzz :zzz :zzz
roger   |2008-05-15
avatar Reminds me about 2002 kit, that classic style.
AJ  - ?     |2008-05-16
Didn't they have the same jersey in 05/06?
The last one Zidane wore before he
retired.
The only difference is the 3/4 lines instead of the lines going down
the sleeve and the black line at the end of the colar.
I highly doubt they will
sell a lot of those jeresys just for that fact.
But over all not bad

WOW finally the ajax kit! Very nice shirt!!!!!!!! better than the last
season cuz that one sucks
Harrison89  - adidas ajax real   |2008-05-16
like the Real shirt... bit boring but very tight.

--

The ajax kit is one
of the nicest i've ever seen. It's is a sort of a combination between the last
season shirt and the Barcelona fluor colors. VERY NICE!
MANCHESTER CHAMPION!  - Real shirt   |2008-05-16
the real shirt is very boring!
Castellon  - shirt real   |2008-05-16
i dont like the real shirt eighter
Lukkieoholic99   |2008-05-16
better than last year kit.. :grin :grin :grin
God  - Same As AC Milan's   |2008-05-16
It's the exact double of AC Milan's away shirt. It's ok but nothing special
Firas   |2008-05-18
5/5

Brilliant shirt, just how real wanted it, not with all that purple stuff on
it but simple. They have brang it back the days of the champions league winning
team. GREAT
elmeromero   |2008-05-19
Awesome kit! I was getting tired of all the modern looking kits. Some things
need to stay traditional. It's like if the Yanks changed their trademark
pinstrips, or the Lakers lost the yellow uniforms. Somethings are just classic.
Hala Madrid!
ado  - mr   |2008-05-19
very nice compared to last year....
adoq   |2008-05-19
This is the Chelsea kit made white... gosh, why all of a sudden collars? they
now look so old school.
razak  - The Classic is Back..........   |2008-05-24
i love it....... thats the sign that the power of classic madrid is back... this
year they will conquer spain for the 3rd time again & will get back their
domination of the europe championship.......
Manuel  - HALA MADRID   |2008-05-29
I think its a boring shirt. I agree that the 3/4 adidas stripes look ugly, they
should go all the way down or not be there at all. I would have liked to see
the new home kit just like the UCL Black Jersey from this past 07/08 season but
White with Purple accents, ala Liverpool Third kit this year with White with Red
accent. Purple is the Royal Color which is Real Madrid's. Real Madrid truly
means Royal Madrid in spanish. I think the reason for this kit being black
accent is to reproduce the same look of the last European Cup triumph Real
Madrid had. But still lamE. :?
Manuel   |2008-05-29
Like this... but white with purple would have been fantastic!

KHALID AL-BADER   |2008-05-30
its simple but I think that a company like ADIDAS can do better than this
t-shirt.

I think that they can represent a contest in which the fans can
comptete in order to design the best kit and finally Adidas can choose and
reward the designer.
Anonymous   |2008-06-10
i thin a classical kit for the best team ever
Romanista   |2008-06-10
Nice, but I think they could have kept the stripes on the sleeves and shorts
white and have the black on the socks match that of the collar in my opinion.
LOL  - aaaaahaaaaa   |2008-06-13
:grin :grin LOL LOL
Sam  - Cool     |2008-06-20
Its that cool but i dont know why instead of the black stripes, they dont use
the purple rather. That would have been Real Madrid.

Hala Madrid. I hope to
tell Adidas to change the black stripes to purple before the new season starts.
matt   |2008-06-21
real madrid for life dont care bout the kits just real madrid
sensational team
! !
Harun   |2008-07-03
avatar Ugly shirt for a ugly club.
cAMpeOne  - Masterpiece Kit   |2008-07-11
I very very like your kit to 2008/2009 its kit masterpiece
cagri_FENERBAHCE_turkey   |2008-07-12
too ordinary ...
Anonymous   |2008-07-12
I know some people are complaining bc the stripes are in purple but black also
is a color thats been identified with Real lately and it works well on this kit,
I really like it, I may get it with Van Nistelrooy on the back
koos  - koosdakloos     |2008-07-17
nice
Smithman   |2008-07-18
the new ajax away kit is bleu.
you can see that one the trainingsweare.
tuncay  - very classic   |2008-07-22
It's not bad! but it is like classic kits
Mehran   |2008-07-22
It is not new!
It's so boring
Anonymous   |2008-07-22
I liked the design until I got my hands on the kit in a shop, the material feels
thick and coarse, like you would expect a fake knock-off too! 'Real' let
down!... whey!
