Colchester United 2008/2009 Puma football kit designs E-mail
Thursday, 15 May 2008

Colchester United unveiled the new Puma kit designs for the 2008-2009 season.

Colchester United unveiled the new Puma kit designs for the 2008-2009 season. The U's Yellow Army will be back in action in 2008/9 as the club have announced they will be reverting to the popular away kit colour next season.

Following their link up with Puma for the next four seasons, the U's have redesigned their kits for the new era at the Community Stadium and yellow is to be the choice of colour for the club's away days next season. Yellow was of course the colour worn by the U's when they were last in League One, as they gained promotion at Yeovil in May 2006.

Why 3 kits though...?

The kits look good (never thought I'd say that about Puma this year!) though
that third shirt is rather superfluous, due to the home shirt's
"UEFA-friendly" back.

I can only assume that the white kit would be
occasionally worn away, very much like the sky blue number that Colchester had
last season - again another superfluous kit.
