This is the new Birmingham City Home kit for the 08-09 season made by Umbro. After Birmingham City unveiled their new away "penguin" shirt, they go for a blue home shirt with some white details for the 2008/2009 season.
For the 2007–08 season Birmingham used the "penguin" design on the home shirt in a more traditional, darker shade of royal blue, with white shorts and blue socks. Next season's strip is again manufactured by Umbro and carries the name of the same sponsors, F&C Investments.
nice to see a much more traditional blues shirt. its much more reminiscent of our kits when we were in contention to winning stuff. well done umbro 5/5

away ones v.nice as well
has no tradition then.... as you have never won or come near to winning anything in 130 years..
I don't believe it. Birmingham had the best strip in the league last year, and instead of wearing a distinctive design with pride, they've adopted a boring Umbro template which will no doubt look exactly the same as that worn by Everton, and many others around Europe. This kit says one thing to me: F&C Investments. When will clubs learn that you when you are lucky enough have something that sets you apart from others, you take full advantage of it?
Nice collar design. Maybe they use the same colour pattern as Chelsea (blue-blue-white) because they wanna be like the Roman's, always stays at the big four. Well, keep dreaming Boys, coz you ain't gonna be like the real Blues
