Osasuna 2008-09 Home Diadora Football shirt unveiled
Saturday, 24 May 2008
Diadora signed a five-years sponsorship agreement with Osasuna and presented the home jersey that Osasuna is going to wear in the 2008/09 season and which colours are those dear to the team, respecting their tradition, red and blue. The away and third jerseys together with the merchandising equipment will be presented in July.
The new Diadora kit especially developed for the Spanish team mirrors Diadora’s idea of innovation and style as a winning recipe for success and is the result of the Gamma project: designed like two gammas meeting and complementing each-other, this is the very first project that embraces both uniforms and accessories, from ball to shin-guards, from boots to keeper’s gloves, a total look that speaks of study and development.
Diadora is especially proud to start this enriching relationship with Osasuna, a team that embodies the essential values Diadora want to communicate when it comes to sports: team spirit, resilience, passion and talent.
And this is an example of how kit manufacturers have little imagination.
While umbro at least made an attempt to make the Sunderland and Southampton shirts different
I've always liked Osasuna's kits. They are very classy with the dark blue shorts and red tops, and the silver numbering on the back makes it a complete package. I like it.
I love the collar and the gold trim...i have to agree osasuna generally have a very classy look because of their colours deep red and dark blue. add silver or gold to that and you have a tot notch kit!
How is Diadora bad? Scotland's jerseys are one of the highest selling from any out there. Almost impossible to find.
Anyway, I like these jerseys. At first glance I didn't like them and I also did not like the idea of abandoning local kit manufacturer Astore. However, looking at the attention to detail for most portions of the jersey, I really like it and will definitely be getting it.
Diadora not same quality as nike? Yeh, you are right.. Diadora is far above them. I have tons of Diadora stuff and wouldn't change it for nothing. Futsal shoes are just superior to whatever Nike, Adidas or some other wannabe big company produces
