Stoke City 2008/2009 away Le Coq Sportif kit E-mail
Saturday, 31 May 2008

stoke_city_away_08-09_le_coq_sportif_kit.jpg

After the leaked picture of the Stoke City away shirt a few days ago, the Potters unveiled their brand new 2008/09 Premier League away strip. The bright yellow and blue design has once again been produced by leading sport manufacturers le coq sportif, and promises to be a huge hit with the supporters following on from the extremely successful home kit launch .

The eye catching and stunning strip has been produced with the latest sports wear technology, and is available to pre-order now online at scfcdirect.com. The full strip will be available from the Britannia Stadium Club Shop, The Potteries Shopping Centre Club Shop and online from 9am on Thursday 19th June.

City stars Ryan Shawcross and Andy Griffin have already given the new kit the thumbs up, with England Under 21 international Shawcross saying: "It is a real eye catcher and hopefully the new colour will help us stand out at the likes of Old Trafford and the Emirates.

"It feels really comfortable and I think it is much better than last seasons design and I can't wait to wear it."

Griffin added: "It will look fantastic with the new Premier League badges on the sleeves and I can't wait to put it on at some of the biggest stadiums in the country."

Better than that terrible contraption that Chelsea had (bright yellow). Le Coq did a better job with it. Fair play.

what i really don't like about this kit is not so much the style, it's the fit that is shit. why in the uk many kit manufacturers make shirt so loose???
KyleAusGooner   |2008-06-01
Why have the guys in white shoes?
Because it looks better, most kits do look better with white boots because it contrasts it.

Not sticking up for white boots, I wear the most plain but best boot the Adidas Copa Mundial.. so I can't say much lol.

Good kit though, and nice girl!

any shirt with a sponsor within a coloured block instantly makes a shirt look cheap, as if the sponsor was stuck on as an after thought. Would be a nice kit otherwise
