Superstore manager Stephen Dickson contacted LinfieldFC.com to thank the many loyal Linfield supporters who turned up at the launch of the new UMBRO away kit on Friday evening.
"It was a great evening with mini soccer, free food and an excellent fashion show involving Paul McAreavey, Michael Gault, Stephen Douglas, Glenn Ferguson and new goalkeeping signing Stuart Addis. David Jeffrey was also in attendance to do an interview with UMBRO's Philip Mitchell. The highlight of the most enjoyable evening was the involvement of the players in the fashion show. The show went down very well with the supporters in attendance. With a penalty shoot out and a disc jockey I was delighted with the very good turn out at the successful event. "
"I just want to thank the loyal and faithful supporters who made this event such a success. The following day the kit also went on sale at the Shankill Road Superstore and sales there have also been most encouraging.
I want to thank Umbro's Philip Mitchell for all the hard work he put into the successful event. He organised everything and I cannot thank him enough for his support of this event and so many other things besides. It has been a pleasure to have such great working relationship with Philip and Umbro".
That is 1 superb kit-Umbro do seem to have the edge this season compared to some of the others regards to individuality etc-this would have made a wonderfull Arsenal shirt had they been sponcered by Umbro. Not
exactlt sure why they have a model on a beach looking like she is trying to be Pam Anderson but good kit though.
