This Shirt is TOO simple

It looks better seeing the players wear it, but I\'m still not a big fan of the design.

Its not Arsenal colours (well it is the right colours - just not set out right), the kit we have had for the past two seasons, is pretty much perfect, but this is actually quite nice too!

Another disappointing Nike kit. It\'s ok but I think the stripes on the arm are out of proportion and the v-neck is bit nasty.

where the hell is the white sleeves???? this is not an arsenal kit. crap crap crap. the one from last year was way better

As a Gunners\' supporter, I must say that this shirt is HORRIBLE. The v-neck makes it seem like a training top, but my main complaint is the lack of full white sleeves (yes, that is a major part of the classic Arsenal shirt). Needless to say that I will not be purchasing a new kit.

A previous post mentioned it makes us look like
Charlton or Walsall... and he\'s absolutely right.

I think that the redcurrent outline of the white stripe down the sleeves and body is a nice touch. Not crazy about the v-neck collar, but other than that I think this is a fantastic kit. Nice socks too. 5/5

i ain\'t an arsenal fan but always think their kits are dead smart but the home home kit looks like a set of pajamas! disappointed.

Crock of shit, no white sleeves so it may as well be a Charlton/\'Boro/any other nondescript team in red with a bit of white. How someone on the board didn\'t veto it is beyond me, too busy banging on about banging on about \'tradition\' and [censored] like \'english ownership\' to realise an american company is already raping our most obvious traditions i guess. I can\'t wait for the red and white striped 2010 kit.

I like it, its like a fusion of the 98-00 and 00-02 kits. Yes, it is screaming out for fully white sleeves as with tradition, but its not the first time we\'ve had sleeves like that as Nike\'s first offering in the mid 90\'s was the same.

Reminds me of the 99/00 dreamcast kit.

It\'s not the first time the sleeves have not been 100% white e.g the 94-96 shirt and the 04/05 shirt.

Dreamcast kit all over again, but at least the stripes back then were blue/navy.

Like someone already said, Nike are getting obsessed with redcurrent. It was a good idea for that 1 season, but it\'s done with, get over it already.

Looking forward to the away strip though, it looks class.

See, I would go ahead and order this shirt, but I already have the 1998 home shirt, and that has a collar and white sleeves.

Looks similar to this, but I think if Nike was going to make a jersey this lazily they should\'ve gone back to the old collar look, not this v-neck, white highlight look. Arsenal and white sleeves go too well together to have this be an actual kit.

I\'ll take simple over the over designed ones that adidas has been putting out lately. I do prefer last seasons with the sleeves being all white. I thought all of last seasons kits were quite nice.

Could be a bit more stylish. And why does the GK-kit have to bite Liverpools fugly away shirt with that weird ugly stripe from the collar?!

It\'s similar to Arsenal\'s kits from 98-00 and 00-02, with the pointless black lines bordering the white bits.

My problem with it is that Arsenal are supposed to have white sleeves, not red sleeves with a white stripe going down them.

Arsenal do usually get nice kits though. I think I\'m right in saying Arsenal were the first English club to have a Nike kit, back when Nike was first getting into the \"soccer\" market around 1995.

Ryan M Liddell - Just because some of us don\'t know how the selection process of new football kits work does not make us unsophisticated .

Not sure about this kit anyway, think I\'ll be sticking with last seasons (which also happened to be the seasons\' before) which is a good looking kit that suits Arsenals traditions.

It looks like a \'Boro kit... horrible. If you are going to copy the Dreamcast kit, at least make the sleeves white.

I quite like this kit although I do agree it is very similar to the nigeria 1998 kit even the socks are similar.

Sleeves should be ALL white not effectively a stripe and I wish they\'d ditch this obsession with \'redcurrant\'. What is that trim all about?

I overall like the look of this kit, and the only improvements I could add would be a collar and the most important the white sleeves. But I will be buying this kit.

The amount of people on here bangin on about this kit being crap is stupid. Im a die hard Gunners fan and I think this kit is great. You don\'t buy a kit for it\'s looks, you buy it as you support the club. Shut up about it not having white sleeves. There is white on the sleeves so thats that, faair play its less than usual but deal with it. Red and white aren\'t the most imaginative colours in the world so think for 2 seconds & realise that theres not much you can do with that. The same idiots would be on here complainin that kits don\'t change if we kept the same kit every year. Next I want to say how annoyin the people are that whinge sayin that Nike make boring kits. Every sports company have like 2 templates and the use them for pretty much every club they do. Adidas use the same template for every club and international they do, Puma is the worst though, change the colours and its the same kit (look at all the African countries for an idea) so its hardly riverting looking at new kits when they arrive. I think most companies do a great job changing them, most of you say this new kit is boring, but what would make you interested? Exactly, all you can say is white sleeves and no V neck. It is for 2 seasons, Arsenals home kits are always 2 seasons the 2004/05 was one season bcause of the one off redcurrent commemorative shirt in 2005/06.
